Also, a short video for your amusement. I actually saw this about a year ago and just remembered it now. Enjoy.

“If our guys all play like we’re capable of, most of them, you don’t have to do a whole lot of things. There aren’t a whole lot of places to fit somebody in if we perform the way we’re supposed to.” – Jim Hendry

    http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/chi-07-cubs-bits-chicago-jul07,0,1154648.story

First, a whole lot of guys ARE NOT playing to their capability. Baseball for most players is a game of ups and downs. Very few players hit .290 30 100 every year. Players have years where they play better than expected and years that they play worse. When a whole bunch of players have “career years” in the same season, it usually turns into a deep playoff run. When a whole bunch of players have below average years, well, there aren’t any playoffs. Basically, Hendry is gambling that most guys on this team will finish with stats approaching their “career average” or worse-their “career best.” I wouldn’t count on it. Sometimes you don’t like to make a move because you fear the effect on “team chemistry.” Well, this team has lousy chemistry, so let’s make some moves and get rid of some of the underachievers and malcontents.

Second-The bullpen is lousy and was always lousy. Even if everyone plays up to their “capabilities” it will still be a subpar bullpen. The Cubs have NEVER had a solid bullpen in the Hendry era-so get some fucking relief pitchers, you asswipe!

  2. erniesarmy Says:

Thanks for that Fro, we need a little comic relief around here after having to deal with a few trolls on the other thread.

I saw this same video last year, or was it the year before? Anyway, Berman is what happens when you’ve been on camera as long as he has, and believe only you, and not the people behind the camera, are the reason the show is popular. Same thing happened to Cosell.

Hey, boomer, how bout you get behind the camera and see how you perform?

    What a jerk!

  3. MadCityMac Says:

Fro, that is fucking priceless! It almost makes me have a little respect for Berman if he wasn’t such a fucking bufoon. I’m sick of his damned nicknames! He’s a caracature of his former self. The guy hasn’t been relevant in 20 years. In fact, there’s not a lot of good that I can say about ANY of those yahoos on “the Worldwide Leader”. A bunch of idiots trying to “out-hip” each other with their cute little catch phrases. Stuart Scott and his damn BOO YAH can go straight to hell. Smarmy assed Kenny Mayne is a joke. Bob Ley and Jeremy Schapp are the only “journalists” on the damn network.
Damn that felt good to vent!

    ……………………………
    My thoughts exactly, Mad City!

Why does Stuart Scott think he’s hip? From what I have gathered on the internet sports blogs, all the athletes hate him, and make fun of him, they think he’s a buffoon. SNL did a skit on him that was hilarious, yet the idiot still doesn’t get that everyone is sick of his BOO YAH, crap!

Oh, and “Mr World’s Funniest Man” Kenny Mayne, don’t get me started on him.

The old ESPN, even with all the tractor pulling contests, was better.

While I am not a big fan of this bullpen, it has not been as horrid as you claim. It’s been mediocre.

    I refer you here: http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/sortable_team_stats.jsp?c_id=mlb&baseballScope=mlb&statType=2&sitSplit=grp&timeSubFrame=2009&groupByTeam=true&Submit=Submit&timeFrame=1

    15th in ERA

    1st in Hits Allowed

(Here’s the major blemish): 4th worst in walks

    10th in HRs allowed..

All in all, they are a decent bullpen but nothing horrible like you guys say. The walks is something that is a concern but that hasn’t been a secret.

To look further into that, Heilman is one of your biggest culprits. He is right at his BB/9 from last year, but many could have taken that as an anomaly as it was the first time it was above 4.2 since his first year (In which he was starting).

Marmol is sitting at 8.9 BB/9 which is double what it was the last two years (His reliever years)

Patton: I don’t think anyone would disagree that he has no place on a ML roster. It’s a very very very weird situation. Losing him probably wouldn’t be the end of the world. He’s a shitty Rule 5 guy.

The Neal Cotts Experiment is what happens when you need someone to get out lefties…. and they guy can’t. I don’t blame them for trying as he was decent last year, but no where near his 2005 numbers.

I’m not trying to apologize for Hendry because I’m indifferent to the guy. However, this bullpen that he threw together, I would go on a limb and say if they walked maybe a total 20-30 guys less this year (Like their averages would indicate), they would be possibly considered a top 10 bullpen, as fucked up as that sounds.

  8. Nemo Says:

    Irish Yeti,

Even if I accept your claim that the bullpen isn’t lousy-that it’s just mediocre-that is still not good enough for a team that aspires to win a championship. And when the GM thinks that there is simply no way to improve this team with a “mediocre” bullpen at best, then the GM is likely delusional, lying, or otherwise asleep at the wheel. Maybe he is just playing things down to get a better deal-but with the ownership situation, I wouldn’t count on it.

  9. ksmc2000 Says:

  14. erniesarmy Says:

Hey Genre, Sandberg, KSMC, CaptainKirk, MadCity, et. al. –

Remember this from “Dr. Kenneth Noisewater”:

“I can’t wait for the Cubs to win this division by 7 games and all you assclowns eat your collective bed-wetting hats.” (July 7 at 9:07 am)

For all our lovable loser trolls out there:

    Bradley goes 0 for 4 … again!

Gregg gives up 2 runs in the top of the ninth to make a 2-1 game into an out of reach 4-1 game – Cubs lose again, naturally.

Cubs get 6 hits and 1 run.

Yesterday the Cubs got 7 hits and 1 run.

Soto is probably going on the DL – Strained oblique..

Dempster is on the DL – Broken toe running out of the dugout!?!

Hart pitches well enough to win, and Zambrano pitches well enough to win, if they were on legitimate playoff contenders.

Cubs win the division by “7 games”??????? Talk about delusional!

  15. FMB! Says:

fuck milton brady and his bullshit boombox what a crapfest

  16. Irish Yeti Says:

““I can’t wait for the Cubs to win this division by 7 games and all you assclowns eat your collective bed-wetting hats.” (July 7 at 9:07 am)”

I don’t see how he’s wrong yet. It’s not October

“Gregg gives up 2 runs in the top of the ninth to make a 2-1 game into an out of reach 4-1 game – Cubs lose again, naturally.”

Actually the first 2 runs made it unreachable, seeing as how the cubs couldn’t score any runs.

  17. Irish Yeti Says:

And I just noticed you posted that in the other thread. Do those guys only have enough attention span for only one thread at a time? Because I think they would have found it in this one (or the other one).

  18. Dave Says:

Time to switch to this thread. 141 posts on the other one. Much of them are expletive and bad spelling soaked piles of shit by the so-called blog trolls, but that is beside the point.

Chirp chirp, here come the Cardinals, along with hot-hitting Pujols and our old friend Derosa. The Cubs are in a must win situation if they want to remain at least a mediocre threat in this division. Offense like the last two games, and they will easily be defeated by the third inning, and it won’t take many runs to do so.

Just some of my predictions for the weekend series with the pitching matchups.

Friday: Thompson vs Harden. This should be a close game with a few pitching mistakes at least initially, then the Cubs bullpen will have a bad day. Loss.

Saturday: Carpenter vs. Lily. Should be quite a pitchers duel with both starters going to about 7 innings. Bradley will make an error allowing an unearned run. Our offense will be unable to respond. Loss.

Sunday Game 1: Wainwright vs. Wells. Wells will be dominant and throw a quality start. A few mistakes by Wainwright will allow the Cubs to squeeze out a couple runs. Bullpen should hold on. Win.

Sunday Game 2: TBA vs Zambrano: Hothead Zambrano should show up after Pujols tees off on him on his second AB. He responds with a beanball the next time around. Cubs offense should come alive in this one, bailing out any Z-frustration. Bullpen barely holds on with them making it dangerously interesting in the 9th. Win.

Hoping I’m wrong about my predicted losses, and we can pull out the brooms. But with this team its not even close to likely.

  19. Matt Stairs Superfan Says:

Dave, I think they have to win at least three out of four to really make a statement. This division is a pile of horse shit. Any team that can pull off a winning streak of five or six games is the leader. Anything can happen but I am with you. It isn’t likely.

  20. erniesarmy Says:

Here is the reason the Cubs don’t win, and will never win –

Ryan Theriot – “”I think that’s everywhere,” Ryan Theriot said. “I think that’s baseball. I just think that’s the way it is. You’re not going to score a ton of runs every game.”

That was Theriot commenting to the Tribune on the lousy offense. Uncle Lou said ask the players why they’re not hitting, and Theriot’s response is “that’s baseball”… “that’s the way it is.” Hey, you’re right Ryan, that’s just the way it is, 101 years of “that’s baseball,” oh well, better luck next time, we’ll get em tomorrow, wait till next year baaaa baaaaaaa baaaaaa baaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long do you think the likes of Joe Girardi, Tony LaRussa, Ozzie Guillen, Terry Francona, or Jim Leyland would put up with lame excuses like that? They’d be riding the pine so quick they’d think they were a bottle of Gatoraide.

And all Uncle Louie can say is “don’t blame me, blame the players, blame the hitting coach, blame the General Manager, blame the groundskeeper, but don’t blame me.’

It’s like Genre has said over and over, there is no accountability on this team, NONE!

  21. MadCityMac Says:

Fro, I do remember Namath shitface on TV hitting on Suzy; I even thought about that when I posted. As much as I don’t have a lot of respect for Broadway Joe (hell, the only reasons he’s in the HOF is the guarenteed win over the Colts in SB III, the white shoes, and the first 4000 yd. season in pro football history), I like his taste in women, even if he’s hammered.
Fuck the Cardinals, and fuck LaRussa!!

  22. morpheus Says:

  24. morpheus Says:

I should clarify: They likely don’t score any runs if Fukudome doesn’t play a single into a 3-bagger. There’s a reason those runs were unearned.

  25. Nemo Says:

I suppose Fukudome threw the wild pitch too? Good pitchers pick up bad defense-not exacerbate it.

Read this gem from Soriano on him being upset over being benched last night:

“If he had told me yesterday, then I wouldn’t come today ready to play.”

    http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/chi-09-cubs-bits-chicago-jul09,0,4562524.story

Um, excuse me you overpaid fartknocker-EVERYONE is supposed to come to the ballpark ready to play. WTF?! Even Zambrano pitched a day early due to Dempster’s injury. He didn’t say “Aww, I’m not ready”-he went out there on short rest and pitched pretty well. And that’s Zambrano, hardly the paragon of good attitude.

If we could find someone to take this selfish loser, I’d gladly pay 50% of that remaining salary on the entire contract. Of course, this will never happen, we are stuck with him.

  26. Sandberg23 Says:

Ernie. The season isn’t over yet, but if I was a betting man I would say nobody is going to win this division by 7 games if this season stays the course. The Cubs cannot seem to put together a long stretch of consistent baseball to get themselves up there with the Cards or Brewers for that matter. Yeah I know they are only 3 games back. But for how long have they been in this spot where they are 2 1/2 to 3 games back? It seems like it’s been the entire season. So where is hope, after half way through the season, that this will actually change? Not to mention as long as the Cards and Brewers are in contention they will continue to try and make moves with they’re rosters to make them better. Especially the Cards. Don’t be surprised if they end up getting another arm in they’re rotation or another bat. Holliday has been on they’re radar for a while. If they get him, look out. That will only make it more difficult for the “cubbies” to catch them.

As far as Soriano goes. He needs sat down for a while. He’s not helping them in anyway and they could put Fox in there for him right now and he would produce more then him currently. Hell Fuld was in the 2 days he was up. Next on that list would be Bradley. It’s been long enough now. If this guy is suppose to be such a great hitter then he should have started hitting by now. .240 avg 6 hr’s and 19 RBI halfway through the season???? That’s horrible. Not to mention he gets fastballs blown by him on a regular basis. Soriano and Bradley are the sole reason why this team is struggling to score any runs on a consistent basis.

  30. Dr. Kenneth Noisewater Says:

Didn’t our best player since Sammy Sosa return from a 50-game absence due to injury?

Taking a break for a few days….have fun everybody. — fine

  32. genrebuster Says:

I just missed your post Dr….yes, hope springs eternal.

    tick tock…

  33. Sandberg23 Says:

Yeah Ramirez is back. Didn’t they just lose a series to a very mediocre Braves team at home with him back in the lineup? Again why am I suppose to have hope?? He can’t do this by himself. Ramirez is a very solid hitter but he is not a Superstar hitter like a Pujols, Joe Mauer, or Ryan Howard. These other big money “so called superstars” are going to have to start doing something. I don’t care if Ramirez tears it up in the second half, if Soriano continues to bat .220 hit for no power, can’t get on base, can’t drive in runs and Bradley continues to hit .240 hit for no power and drive in crap for RBI’s this lineup is still going to suck.

  34. morpheus Says:

I always judge a player’s impact by sample sizes of three games or less.

  35. Dr. Kenneth Noisewater Says:

“Yeah Ramirez is back. Didn’t they just lose a series to a very mediocre Braves team at home with him back in the lineup? Again why am I suppose to have hope?? He can’t do this by himself. Ramirez is a very solid hitter but he is not a Superstar hitter like a Pujols, Joe Mauer, or Ryan Howard.”

First of all, Ramirez is what, three games removed from that 50-game absence? And you expect him to be 100% right off the bat? Or, what morpheus said.

    Also, look at these numbers:

    .335 .433 .631 1.064 205 HR 596 RBI 476 BB 279 K

    .317 .399 .457 .856 44 HR 301 RBI 292 BB 233 K

    .302 .366 .554 .920 158 HR 526 RBI 251 BB 345 K

    .276 .373 .581 .954 198 HR 562 RBI 365 BB 790 KK

Can you pick Aramis Ramirez out of that lineup? And, c’mon. Comparing him to Albert Pujols is just mindbottling. He’s only the best hitter in all of baseball right now.

FYI, Aramis was the third row of stats (I took years 2004-2008 for each player accept Howard, since his 2004 was very, very short. I added his 2009 to 2004 to get a loosely similar sample.)

Point being: Yes, Aramis Ramirez is one of the best hitters in baseball.

  36. Dr. Kenneth Noisewater Says:

    *except Howard…

  37. Nemo Says:

Mike D-Frodog could save us all a big headache by deleting your access to the site-you WHINE too much.

Morpheus-although it isn’t fair to judge what Ramirez will do for the whole season based on 3 games, you sarcastic remark to Sandberg it completely unfair as he does address Ramirez and the Cubs prospects for the rest of the season-INCLUDING the possibility of tearing things up. So your remark is completely unfair.

Just like it would be unfair if Ramirez had 2 homers, 7 rbi’s and the Cubs swept Atlanta for me to say you were probably jizzing your monitor and booking hotels in LA, Philly, and NY for the playoffs.

  38. Nemo Says:

blah, blah, blah. let’s not play the games, the stat freaks have the Cubs winning the World Series. Can we have our trophy NOW?

  39. mlbtvsucks Says:

It’s annoying that the majority of the posters here bank that the Cubs WON’T win a world series. Good bet guys, and that allows for finger pointing. Soriano is a douche, but the organization as a whole sells a lot of advertisements and puts asses in the seats. Want a championship, root for the Whitesox, it is everything you want, minus the entertainment. Plus you can see your “take no shit” coach at work. Stop watching and reading about this team if they frustrate you so much. This used to be a rag-on-a-crappy-player blog, but has changed into a he’s-not-so-crappy-now-wish-he-was-still-playing-with-the-cubs blah blah. You are truely idiots. Rip me and pat yourself on the back when the Cubs lose, but try not to be too suprised… after all “101 years” tick tock. Dumbasses.

  40. Sandberg23 Says:

Dr Kenny. It’s pointless to even discuss this with you. I knew after I put those players names in there I was gonna get stats thrown at me. That’s fine. The reason I referenced Pujols is because this whole issue with Ramirez coming back is being blown way out of proportion to the point that he is basically being mentioned as a savior, (Pujols like) and how he is going to save the Cubs hitting woes. That’s not fair to him. He’s not going to throw up Albert Pujols numbers and yes he is probably gonna struggle out of the gates here because he hasn’t faced live pitching in a while. It’s not his responsiblity to pick up the slack for these other over priced bums we got on the team. BTW, he is one of my favorite players on the team, so if you think I’m bashing him in anyway you are way off base. Well see how the rest of the season goes allright? That’s the only way this will be answered. But I’m telling ya if Soriano and Bradley continue to do what they are doing. No playoffs guaranteed. And if that happens I bet we probably won’t be hearing much from you either.

Morpeus yes I know three games is absurd to judge someone. I was actually being sarcastic towards Kenny with the Ramirez is our savior comments. And yes I did say Ramirez is a very good hitter, so I don’t know what you read with my post, but I certainly wasn’t slamming Ramirez.

BTW just a poll who would you rather have:

    Ramirez or Howard?
    Ramirez or Pujols?
    Ramirez or Mauer?

  41. erniesarmy Says:

This is from the other thread:

Build a new stadium and play young players… MLB has that already, Nationals and Pirates. Root for them.
What reason have the Cubs given you to be a fan? Find another team, or cross your fingers and enjoy baseball for what it is.. entertainment. I don’t get mad when they lose. Those million dollar losers are paid to entertain me. They serve me, the fan. Everytime you click on a Cubs article, pissed off or not, you probably look at some sort of advertisement, thats all they want. Winning is icing on the cake. They’re selling out the ball park and even the people that hate the organization follow.
    …………………………………….

Couple of thoughts for yet another brain-dead troll that somehow found our site:

    1) Before they became the Nationals, the Expos were a pretty successful franchise, more successful than the Cubs. Now they’re rebuilding; their farm system is stocked with loads of young talent, and they have hired one to the best baseball men to evaluate talent.

    2) Pittsburgh has won 3 WS titles since the Cubs last went to the WS in 1945. I’ll take that any day.

    3) You last paragraph is classic. That’s right, the owners of the Cubs realize they don’t have to do anything to mold this team into a winner, it’s idiots like you who keep the coffers full! As long as the money is rolling in, who cares if they win or lose.

We follow the Cubs because we are Cub fans, not Tribune fans! We gripe and complain because we want a winner. Will it bring a winner? No. But, I would rather be on the side of the complainers, than the sheep who eat hot dogs in the bleachers and say, “Oh, well, wait till next year.”

And I agree with Nemo, Fro, we’ve got a mess over here in aisle 6 that needs cleaning up and thrown in the toilet.

And if you sheepie don’t like what’s said here, then stay out!

  42. morpheus Says:

“So your remark is completely unfair.”

Fair enough. I’m just saying, we just don’t know yet what his impact will be. Either way.

  43. Sandberg23 Says:

Or hell I got some more:

    Ramirez or Utley?
    Ramirez or Hanley Ramirez?
    Ramirez or Fielder?
    Ramirez or Morneau?
    Ramirez or Longoria?
    Ramirez or David Wright?

  44. morpheus Says:

Also, banning or deleting access for people is silly and childish. I, for one, like seeing opposing viewpoints, even if I then just go and refute them. Without multiple viewpoints there is no discussion, just an echo chamber.

  45. Dr. Kenneth Noisewater Says:

I don’t think you know how to evaluate baseball at all, Sandberg. Thinking Ramirez is going to “save” the season is absurd, at least in the mindset that he’ll single-handedly hit 80 HR and drive in 200 RBI over the rest of the year. No. He’ll certainly enhance the potency of the lineups and get the hitters around him better pitches. Don’t you agree?

Why are you guys afraid of stats and numbers? They’re just science. They don’t bite.

I agree. That’s why they play the games. I’m here because I get so disgusted with insane hand wringing, kitten-punching, cancer-baby-kicking red-faced anger diatribes at this site that I can’t help myself but spread a little common sense, even if it bounces off your collective wooden headed domes. Take your own adivce: just watch the games. There’s about 80 left, of which anything can happen, good or bad. There’s no reason to get so worked up and come on here or anywhere and act so retarded your mom would consider reservoir tipping your dad that one night in the K-Mart bathroom.

As for your poll: Ramirez, Pujols, push.

  46. Sandberg23 Says:

Yup go ahead Kenny talk shit. Is that all you can do when you get questioned on what you are saying? You wanna talk about moron you’re comments are pretty damn stupid questioning people’s intelligence in here. Like I said and I will keep saying it. If nobody else in the lineup is hitting, forget it. It doesn’t matter what Ramirez is doing cause all they will do is pitch around him if they have too. Have you heard of that strategy before that opposing teams will do to keep the hot hitter from killing them. If you don’t understand that then watch the games this weekend and see how the Cubs pitch to Pujols. And if stats give you every answer to you’re arguments. Then please explain to me WTF is the problem with Soriano and Bradley then????? Those stats they are sporting right now sure aren’t living up to they’re career numbers is it???

  47. Sandberg23 Says:

I would take every player I mentioned on that list of players before I would take Ramirez. The only one I would have a hard time picking from is Wright. But I would still take him cause he’s got better speed on the base paths and plays better d.

  48. erniesarmy Says:

“I don’t think you know how to evaluate baseball at all, Sandberg.”
    ………………………..

And this coming from a clown that thinks the Cubs will win the division by 7 games!

Keep it up, Einstein. Do us a favor, take your “common sense” back to BCB or HJE.

“Wow, there’s a man, or is it a woman, who knows how to project. ”

Anybody and everybody who disagrees with your pantywaist worldview is a BCB loyalist who can’t name any players on the team and who prefers a sunny day at Wrigley over a “W” and I’m the one who’s projecting?

Oh, that’s rich. You guys ought to head outside and check out the burning orange ball in the sky. It’s called the sun.

Any jamoke Cubs fan can tell you that Sandberg hit two homers off Sutter to tie the game, dumbass. It is pretty fuckin’ far from an arcane fact. I’m not saying he should remember that Scott Sanderson once hit a grand slam off of the Cubs while member of the Expos, but that little fact should be common knowledge for any Cubs fan–particulalry one who goes to great lengths to deride the authenticity of fans. Hell, the 25th anniversary of that game took place last month and you couldn’t swing a dead cat on the Internet without hitting that game

just go back to HJE, stop trolling. at least were classy enough to leave u guys alone in ur hendry loving orgy pit. For the record, one of you pubeless twinks–and my deductive powers tell me it’s genrebuster–has been barging into the HJE ShoutBox to squirt urine over the conversations with his childish and anonymous DOOOM rants. This was long before I decided to wade through this cesspool of mongoloid fever here yesterday. That said, rest assured that I will in fact stop trolling and leave you fatalistic boobs to wallow in your own idiocy henceforth. Go Cubs.

All of you fucking whiners here are about as mature as shitting in your diapers.

The best thing to happen is for Fro Dog, the biggest whiner of them all, to delete this blog and save us a headache.

Yeti, it was HIM who posted every comment. Not US. I won’t post every comment but the ones saying it wasn’t him was him. Unless someone of course is really good at posting stuff from the same IP address. But of course, I am sure you will come back here and see my comment. Then you won’t think of anything funny to say so possibly you or maybe one of your boyfriends will go ahead and make fun of my job or something.

  54. genrebuster Says:

EXCELLENT post Frodog! I wonder how Bad Kermit would feel if HJE was invaded by a bunch of jerky boys?

I guess Sasquatch was wrong (again)….and how’s that headache working out for you Mike D?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

  55. genrebuster Says:

To clarify, the “angry douche” portion seems correct.

  56. Mike D. Says:

Hey I just noticed this. Honest to god, I did not post the “diaper shitting” comment. The others, I’ll cop to. I don’t know how my IP address was swiped. Yeti was right, though–that ain’t me.

  57. genrebuster Says:

Alert the media: Mike D. “copped” to this:

“For the record, one of you pubeless twinks–and my deductive powers tell me it’s genrebuster–has been barging into the HJE ShoutBox to squirt urine over the conversations with his childish and anonymous DOOOM rants. And, if you substitute “sheeple” for “people” it has a really nice ring to it, too…Thanks Hank!

  58. Fro Dog Says:

    Genrebuster,

It’s not going to work. These people are going to keep coming here because face it, they have nothing else better to do. They refuse to actually have a decent conversation with any of you guys. I wrote this article back in February: https://firedustybaker2.wordpress.com/2009/02/18/a-few-things-to-say-2/

I basically stated that if you cannot have an actual conversation without insulting someone and and acting like a jackass, then this isn’t the place for you. Don’t read anything we say. Don’t come here. That will save us all a headache (Mike D.)

  59. Mike D. Says:

The point remains, Fro, that I didn’t write that comment from 7/9 @ 12:23. If you’re actually manipulating it to look like I am, then you’re a spineless turd.

  60. genrebuster Says:

    Mike D. — OK…you didn’t leave the comment from 7/9 @ 12:23.

I have a great idea: Why don’t you just drop it now and disappear? It’s a safe bet that none of “us” will miss you or your juvenile posts.

Perhaps you can find some “urine-squirting” bloggers wading in a “cesspool of mongoloid fever” to entertain…good luck with that buddy. Keep up the good work and even the sheeple won’t want to have anything to do with you. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    PATHETIC.

  61. Matt Stairs Superfan Says:

    Mike D.,

With your most recent comment, that leads all of us to believe that you really did leave all of those comments and not just some of them. Maybe if you quit leaving comments like the most recent one that you did, maybe, just maybe we would believe you.

But all joking aside, just go away as Genre said. There is no need for you to keep coming back here unless you want to actually discuss baseball.

I meant it. In fact, you’ll notice that I have not made a single comment pursuant to that one; I only came back here when I noticed that Fro was manipulating the IP Address to make it look like I said something I didn’t. Even if the comment attributed to me was inocuous, relative to some of the more admittedly vitriolic comments I left, I felt a need to defend myself–and that’s the only reason I posted again. A petty thing, perhaps, but I didn’t appreciate being portrayed deceptively. I’ve considered Fro to be an overreactive nitwit–as are the lot of you weirdos–but I honestly was giving him too much credit in my mind when I felt he would be above pulling dishonest bullshit like that. I felt I needed to clarify that that last comment was not, in fact, me. Should o usee any comments in the future that are attributed to me that is not related to this issue, I can assure you that it really isn’t me. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some sheeple to follow. Isn’t that how it goes?

  63. Fro Dog Says:

Mike, I do not know what your deal is. Can you give me a reason why I would “manipulate” your IP address? All I did was click on your name and all of your comments on my admin page showed up under the same IP address along with the same email.

For you to think it is me is absurd. I come here maybe every other day or couple days and that is to make sure things are going smoothly along with helping out KSMC with putting up a new thread. I am pretty sure I have much better things to do than “manipulate” your comments. But who cares because you will continue to think I am an “overactive nimwit”.

This is the first time I have spoken directly to you in maybe the last five months. I still cannot figure out why you continue to make comments towards me. It’s almost like you have a personal vendetta against me. I have no problem with you whatsoever. But this issue is done and over with. If you want to come here and have an actual conversation without the insults, feel free.

  64. Mike D. Says:

    Fro,

I have no vendetta against you, so you can drop the persecution complex.

I’m saying I didn’t make that last comment. If you didn’t do it, shouldn’t you be concerned that one of your adminsitrators is engaging in this type of dishonesty? It’s bush. I make a big enough ass out of myself without your guys’ help.

  65. erniesarmy Says:

“I’m saying I didn’t make that last comment.”

    And you’re a damn liar!

  66. genrebuster Says:
