Embarrasing.

by

Forte

The Bears gave the game away to the Falcons Sunday night thanks to once again, stupid penalties and dumb play calling. Let’s get to it:

Orlando Pace; Frank Omiyale: Fuck them both. Pace is old. Omiyale is a dumb fuck. Numerous holding penalties, false starts along with failure to actually block a defender has been a problem for both of these people. Last year, Josh Beekman played well on the left side and he hasn’t seen the field yet this year. It’s time to make a change in my opinion. 4th and 1 on the last play turns into 4th and 6 after Pace gets a false start penalty.

Matt Forte and Ron Turner: I have been one to defend this guy and say that it is the offensive line that is the problem. That is true because you can’t run the ball if damn jackasses like Frank Omiyale and Chris Williams fail to block somebody. However, fumbling on two consecutive plays is complete garbage. The play calling is also a problem. The 1st and goal play. Pass? Why not just try a quarterback sneak on the 1 yard line? A pitch out on 3rd and goal? Fuck Ron Turner too.

Jay Cutler: He is not to blame completely for this loss. No one is more pissed than this guy. The offense let him down. He drove the offense down the field four different times and they came up empty three of those times.

Once again. Stupid penalties and dumb play calling costs the Bears this game. The special teams had a bad game but that rarely happens so I won’t get down on them too much. Changes need to be made. Josh Beekman who played very well last year on the offensive line should take the spot of Omiyale. That should be a start to making adjustments. If someone else is available on the waiver wire for offensive line help, the Bears need to try to pick up somebody.

While this team is 3-2, there still is a cause for concern. If they do lose next week, then I am going to start worrying about this team.

First, let me state that I am far from being an expert on the Bears or football.

Thta said, I watched the 4th quarter:

Cutler looks like a real quarterback, something I haven’t seen in a Bears uniform in quite some time.

The defense couldn’t make the stop when it mattered (4th quarter).

    The offensive line was WEAK.

Question: Why doesn’t Hester return kickoffs? Or does he from time to time?

  2. Irish Yeti Says:

Fro, I can’t say I disagree with that much. I suspect they didn’t want to do the sneak at the one because Turner isn’t convinced the line can make that big of a push. Sad, but true.

    Genre,
Despite how angry people are getting over his postgame press conferences, Cutler is the main. I really don’t have anything bad to say about him. INTs happen. Even the best throw picks. The second was definitely a bad throw. 1st was a throw under pressure that was a mistake.
Hester: Last year, they took him off because of a couple things. They wanted him to have to focus on a little less. Only punt returns and offense. Also, Danieal Manning did very well as he was one of the best kick returners last year. And Knox looks very good back there (most of the time). The return situation is something I’m pretty satisfied with, as Hester looked pretty good tonight.

  3. Captain Kirk Says:

Who can we blame for the loss?????

    LOVIE SMITH………

    12 men on the field????
    Red zone offense???????

Matt Forte is no Thomas Jones or Cedric Benson!!!!!!!! Three fumbles within the 5 yard line?????? There must be an arena team that needs a running back.

  4. MadCityMac Says:

Orlando Pace must be coming down with Alzheimers; the dumb fuck can’t count to 2. He looked like he wanted to crawl under the turf after that false start on the last drive. Hester looked like the OLD Hester on a couple punt returns last night. I’ll tell you, you guys have a lot less to worry about than us Packer fans. They may have beaten the Lions 26-0, but they looked like shit. I think Rodgers got sacked 5 times AGAIN; granted, a couple of them were his fault for holding onto the ball too damned long. The penalties are going to kill this team. The Lions may have actually had more yards gained via penalty than offensive yardage.

How many yards did Thomas Jones have yesterday for the Jets? That’s looking like one of Angelow’s dumbest trades.

Robert, Michael Davies was a healthy scratch in both Badger hockey games this weekend. Coach Mike Eaves basically said that he didn’t prepare or work hard enough in the off-season, so he benched him for the first series. Badgers lost 3-2 Friday night and tied 1-1 Saturday. Same shit as last year – PUT THE PUCK IN THE NET! Both goaltenders played well at least.

  5. chucky Says:

You guys should check out the blog section of 670 the scores website. That is far and away the biggest collection of inbred retards I have ever seen. They either bitch about Mike Murphy not being there anymore, bitch about how bad Dan Bernstein and Terry Boers are, or how bad McNeil and Speigal are, or claim Kyle Orton would have won that game last night. Some asswipe actually said that! The stupidity is astonishing. I stopped blogging there a month and half ago because of the bullshit. Plus one asshole attacked my family, my mother in particular. He’s lucky I can’t find him because if I did I’d put him in a hospital for at least 6 months.

My point is this: I’m certain many people have taken shots at all of us here on this blog, calling us dumb fans and all, but some of these other “sports fans/sports authorities are actually criminally stupid. Their grammar is terrible, they can’t spell, and they have a point of view that is 180 degrees out of whack. And I have zero patience for outright stupidity.

  6. Fro Dog Says:

    Mike,

I honestly think someone is going to kill both of our quarterbacks because your offensive line is awful too. I got a chance to watch both the Packers/Lions and Saints/Giants because I get both the Rockford and Chicago FOX affiliate. I tuned in for a while on the Packers/Lions and it seemed like Rodgers was running for his life a few times.

    Chucky,

You just spoke for me and a bunch of other fans. I consider myself a pretty good sports fan and know well about most sports but damn, the people who call into the station make me want to punch them.

Can you actually believe that one retard called a few weeks ago and said that the Bears don’t miss Urlacher on the post game show? Another guy called a couple years ago and said the Bears should bring back Ditka and have him coach. I honestly think The Score should pre-screen callers and if it’s a stupid call, block them for good.

As far as the Cutler/Orton thing is. I will always root for Orton but Cutler is a million times better. If a fan thinks otherwise, they should stab themselves in the throat repeatedly.

  7. chucky Says:

    FroDog

I agree with you about pre-screening callers, but on the other hand if you do that you would have no callers left. It’s getting to the point that I can’t listen as often as I used to because of massive bleeding from both ears. And like I said before, there was no need to go after my family like that one douchebag did.

Did you see that Snoop Dog is guest hosting Raw tonight. I thought WWE went to a PG format. Nothing says PG TV like Snoop Dog smoking weed on live TV.

  8. Fro Dog Says:

I saw that Chucky. Good thing since I moved into this apartment earlier in the year, I finally upgraded to a DVR as well. Now, I just record RAW and watch it later on so I can fast forward through all of the commercials and bad wrestling matches. It saves me a good hour or hour and a half.

I read an article the other night saying how awful it has been backstage for the young guys. It was mentioned that especially on both shows, if you are not on Triple H’s good side or even Michaels or Cena, you will pretty much go no where in the company. That is how sad it has gotten. It makes me wish they hadn’t done that wedding angle when Triple H “drugged” her. Who would have thought they would have gotten married in real life.

  9. chucky Says:

Pro wrestling has been going down hill since the mid 80’s. What McMahon and Hogan did fucked it up permanently. Vince created cartoon characters and Hogan was the lead joke in it all. Too bad he stay the heel that he was at the start of his career. I thought that actually worked for him. “Hollywood” Hogan sucked massive ass on all fronts. HHH and Michaels may be asshole politicians backstage, but Hogan was ina class by himself there. And no-talent hacks like Miz holds a fucking title. Man, I miss the days of Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens.

The football retards are out in full force today. My head will explode if I keep listening to this shit. And by the way, after listening to Lovie Smiths press conference this afternoon, I’m firmly convinced he needs to go. That guy is so dead during these press conferences that I want to start shoveling fucking dirt on him. Goddamn it Lovie!! Go out and get a fucking personality. I’m not saying the Bears need to hire another Ditka or even a Mike Singletary. Just show some trace that you’re still alive. Then tender your resignation please.

  10. MadCityMac Says:

Fro, I think Aaron Rodgers is in more danger than Cutler. The Packers’ offensive line is pathetic. And you would think a veteran like Chad Clifton would know where to lineup; the big dumbass got called twice for lining up wrong, and 2 false starts. Granted, his false starts weren’t as damaging as that dipshit Pace’s was. I heard your call on the Score this afternoon; did it seem that the guys were a bit dismissive of your comment? I couldn’t hear it too clearly because of my damn diesel engine.

That Packer game was easily the most unimpressive shutout I’ve ever seen. Some of Rodgers’ sacks are his fault; he holds onto the ball too long sometimes, but Alan Barbre and the rest of the 5 Blocks of Dogshit are going to get him killed. But I still like Rodgers. And Cutler is going to keep the Bears in it all year. And when the hell is it going to turn to Midnight for Favre? He can’t keep this shit up, can he?

  11. Fro Dog Says:

    Mike,

They weren’t dismissive. Both actually agreed and thanked me for the call. Bernstein said after I mentioned Forte being either hurt or the line being bad that is probably both of those. I actually am glad they don’t hate me like most callers and they give me time to talk.

  12. Kyle Orton Says:

Please don’t call me neckbeard anymore… That is just my jesus beard I’ll be growing in here shortly since I am god out here in Denver…

  13. Fro Dog Says:

Good to see Orton doing well. The Broncos were always my second team anyway (John Elway was my favorite player growing up). I have mentioned several times last year on this site that Orton can be a good (Not great) quarterback.

Regardless of what the record is, Cutler is still the better quarterback.

  14. Fro Dog Says:

By the way, Chucky, I just finished watching RAW on the DVR. During most of my time watching it, I was pretty much hanging my head in disgust. So Snoop Dogg decides to “light it up” and it ends up being candles with “grass”. I wonder what the 11 year old fan sitting in the seats asked their dad what Snoop was doing.

Then all of a sudden, the hosts for next week…NASCAR drivers? I didn’t think this could get any worse.

I am sure both of us could sit here for days and say what is wrong with wrestling. The PG era isn’t the biggest deal out there. However, there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight for the crap going on at the moment. I really wish TNA would do better. They seem to be a superstar or two in their prime away from taking off.

  15. robert Says:

fro isnt it scary how much lacy von erich looks like her daddy

  16. chucky Says:

    Fro

I TVOed Raw last night, I’ll check it out tonight after work. I wasn’t holding out any hope that it will be any good. I suppose I’d be grateful that I don’t have to explain shit that to an 11 year old. As far as guest hosts are concerned, did you hear what they want to do around mid November? In New York? Yeah, you guessed it!! They want somebody from the Yankees. Maybe like A-Roid or Jeter. I’m so sick of Derek Fucking Jeter I want to smash his face with a piece of large heavy concrete. Fucking bastard. I sure as fuck won’t TVO that abortion.

    Robert

Lacey does look alot like Kerry. Especially around the chest. Kerry was pretty roided up, among other shit he was doing. Hope she doesn’t start doing that shit. Her claw hold looks sort of weak also.

  17. MadCityMac Says:

Fro, I’ll tell you, out of all the sports talk I listen to, Boers and Bernstein are my favorites. They’re good with intelligent callers like you, but really go off on the meatballs and morons.

  18. Sandberg23 Says:

I like Bernstein. He really seems to know what the hell he is talking about but I can’t stand Boers. He doesn’t really add anything to the show cause most the time all he is doing is that stupid laugh and he never adds anything of his own to the show. He just agrees or comments on Bernstein’s points. I would much rather hear a on air show with Bernstein and Lawrence Holmes, or hell even they’re producer Jason Goff.

  19. chucky Says:

Yesterdays call-ins to the B&B show illustrate my post about their blog. And people were getting pissed about Bernstein blasting idiot callers.

    Un-fucking-believable.

There is one thing about Boers that is starting to really annoy me. It’s his CONSTANT repeating of “Dah Mah Neh”. It was fine back in June when McNeil came back, but he’s run it into the fucking ground.

    Enough already. We get it.

  20. Sandberg23 Says:

Or how about his stupid ass “bye cracky” remark he says all the time. They are right in blasting the stupid callers. But I’ll tell you what there is something wrong with the offensive playcalling. I’m in no way shape or form trying to act like I am a offensive coordinator but when you watch the games you can tell there is something wrong. You don’t run garrett wolfe in between the tackles on run plays. you don’t run a draw or a screen on almost every 3rd and long play. I actually called out a 3rd and 11 play that it was going to be a screen before the play and sure enough it was. Again I’m not trying to be off. coordinator but when you have 3rd and long situations why do you throw a short pass?? Sure if you hit the guy in open space he might run and get the first but how often does that actually happen. It would just be nice to see when you need the yardage to get a first you actually run a pass play where the reciever runs past the sticks on a route where if it is completed it’s a first down. I have seen way to much of this throughout the years. 3rd and 10-15 throw it 5 yds or screen pass or draw……3rd and 7 throw the ball 5 yds…. They have the qb now to make them 3rd and long plays.

  21. chucky Says:

Yeah, that got old fast too.

  22. robert Says:

do you think we can get good seats

Who is running StubHub these days? Dusty?

  24. robert Says:

no its hendry and crane kenny

  25. robert Says:

chucky the only reason I said hendry and didnt tell the truth ( it was actually kevin gregg is cause he has been a servicable emplyoee for stub hub so we cant blame him

  26. chucky Says:

Yes, of course Robert. Just like he was servicable as a closer. I would agree.

    BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. ksmc2000 Says:

Zack Zaidman reported on Tuesday night that Jay Cutler’s contract has been extended thru 2013. That’s great news indeed. I was concerned that Cutler would get frustrated with the O-Line and Turner’s fucked up play calling and bolt after his current contract expires. The Bears offense can be very good if they fix a few holes on the line and play to Cutler’s strenghths instead of running the same fucking plays that they used with Orton and Grossman.

  28. Fro Dog Says:

    Keith,

I heard about that late Tuesday night and it was exciting to hear that. The line needs help badly or Cutler is going to get killed. Lovie seems to be showing how stubborn he is with making changes along with the play calling by Turner.

If things don’t get fixed and the Bears aren’t making any progress in the next couple years, then don’t be surprised if Cutler wants out. You can’t blame him either.

  29. chucky Says:

I’ve said for quite some time now that Lovie needs to go. Not for someone with a fire and passion personality (Ditka), or a complete over the top meatball (Singletary). Just somebody with a clue. And a pulse.

  30. Sandberg23 Says:

Is there anyway we that Lovie can get his Mike Martz in here to run the offense?? Martz is a fucking crazy bastard but he does know how to run a offense.. To bad Shanahan wasn’t interested in being a coordinator cause he would be a good choice as well.

  31. ksmc2000 Says:

How about Shanahan as the Head Coach? I sick of Lovie’s stubborn attitude towards changing things that are not working on the field. Turner should have been fired two years ago, but Lovie insists that the offense is fine. He still thinks the Bears get off the bus running. How’s that working for us this year. I’m also fed up with the fucking Tampa 2 defense. It was a good concept years ago, but just about every team in the NFL has figured out how to beat it.

  32. Fro Dog Says:

    Keith,

I have no problem changing the name of this site. I have stuck up for Lovie more than most people here at this site. Not a lot of you guys agree with me on that case but I would soon join if he does not make the changes such as Omiyale getting benched, more running plays, letting Cutler throw down the field more, etc.

Turner is the moron making the calls but Lovie can change the play if needed. I know they can’t run the ball because of the offensive line so changes need to be made there. Forte is a good running back.

  33. ksmc2000 Says:

The only running that the Bears are doing so far is Cutler running for his fucking life. I heard the interview with Angelo on the score and he is defending Omiyale also. If all of us can see where the problems lie, why can’t those assholes in management do something about it?

  34. chucky Says:

Because those assholes can’t admit to making a mistake. It’s no different than Hendry. When was the last time you heard him say “Hey, I screwed up. I’m trying to correct my mistake.”

    Yeah, I haven’t either.

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
