I don’t entirely agree with your statement that if the Bears don’t win Thursday against San Fransisco the season is over. I think it ended at the bye week.
This team(?) has look like fucking dogshit since the break. My only question is when in the goddamned hell will that asshole Lovie Smith be held accountable for any of this. Along with him, Jerry Angelo, Ron Turner and the rest of these hacks that call themselves a coaching staff should be shit-canned right fucking now. I’ve seen more than enough.
And after the bullshit that was the Cubs 2009 season, I’m really sick of this incompetence. Fuck you Lovie.
This team fucking sucks. I can’t defend the coaching staff at this point. The injuries to the defense is a part of it. However, it is up to the coaching staff and management to have players ready to step in and play the backup role to contribute. That hasn’t happened and coaching/management is responsible.
The Cardinals had five drives and all drives resulted in points. They were perfect on the 3rd down conversions in the 1st half. Someone get Irish Yeti here to give us the exact stats.
Caleb Hanie didn’t play today because Lovie Baker is an arrogant, egotistical piece of shit asshole who is too stubborn to get out of his own fucking way.
I never thought that I could hate somebody more than Dusty Baker. Lovie accomplished it. I do hate Lovie right now more than Dusty. I fucking swear to God if that motherfucker is coaching this team next year I’m done with them.
Fuck the Bears.
Fuck Smith.
Fuck Turner.
Fuck the asshole McCaskeys.
FUCK THIS GODDAMNED BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One more thing. FroDog… I seriously think it’s time, especially right now, to change the name of this site again. “Fire Lovie Baker” works for me.
I was the only one on this site who defended Lovie last year. I was pissed at him in both 06 and 07 and yet, I still defended him. Now, I am kicking myself.
That being said, this site might have yet another name change. Call me stupid but I am going to try to wait it out here until after Thursday to see if this team has some fucking balls in them to turn it around. I doubt it though. It’s just as much as Lovie’s fault as it is the players.
Caleb Hanie wasn’t in there because Cutler wasn’t the problem today. In fact, he was one of the few guys I can think of that wasn’t the problem today . I called this game when Harris was ejected-not that I thought they couldn’t overcome his loss, but because I thought his actions reflected the mindset of the team and unfortunately I was right. No playoffs this year. Not even a winning record this year.
I think some of us wanted to see Hanie out there just because the fear of Cutler getting killed in a game which was already lost. There shouldn’t have been a reason for him out there that late in the game.
I wonder if Cutler would prefer playing for Shanahan (again)…or Cowher?
I read somewhere that Ron Turner likes “smooth jazz”…..well, there’s your problem…more Trane, Shorter and the like…and less Kenny G…I bet his offense would improve. HA HA HA HA HA
So who wins the Bill Cowher Sweepstakes, the Bears or the Packers? Lovie Baker and Lou McCarthy are both headed for the unemployment line, along with Angelow and Ted Thompson. Or should be.
Who gets knocked out for the season first, Jay Cutler or Aaron Rodgers? 2 horrible o-lines!
The Blackhawks and Bulls have started and are playing above average so far. I am probably the only one here who still follows the NBA closely this decade.
I know there are a couple hockey guys on here along with me. We’ll see how long it takes for Cristobal Huet to be benched in net for good for Antti Niemi. I am still convinced that Huet is the second coming of Jocelyn Thibault (crappy Blackhawks goalie in the late 90’s/early 2000’s).
Fro, is Jonathan Toews healthy yet? And where is Jack “I-94” Skille? Rockford or Chicago these days? I wish I could see some Hawks games. I want to see for myself what’s going on with Huet. Positioning? Technique? Blind? Can’t imagine his defense is letting him down.
Toews just came back last night and scored a goal. Skille has been in Rockford for a little while now. Don’t mean to be a correction man because I screw up many times but it’s “I-90” Skille. As far as the other Madison guy, Jake Dowell was up I believe for a brief moment then shipped back.
The minute I talk shit about Huet, he has a good game. He gave up one goal last night and there wasn’t much he could do about it. He has done well the last six or seven games he has played but I am still not convinced.
Sorry Genre. I do not. I read an article on a wrestling website that “The Yeti” was rated the worse wrestling gimmick of all time. I wonder, is it really his “gimmick”?

IMOP, Lovie is as “out of it” as Dusty Baker was/is…and that is saying an awful lot.
From a Super Bowl appearance in 2006 to this in less than 3 years…
(cough, cough)…………PATHETIC.

Can someone tell me why Caleb Hanie isn’t out there? The game has been over for a while.

What a bunch of fucking pansies on this team.

Matt Stairs – If you guys are talking about the possession with 90 seconds left in the game, I agree with you.

And to think we thought the football season was going to be a positive way to forget about the bad baseball season…

Mangini is much worse; McCarthey is getting there. Ted Thompson is a much worse gm than Angelo; at least Angelo knows what a free agent is!
