Shon the non-believer.

Fro Dog pointing to the jersey shirt of the new #1 goalie of the Chicago Blackhawks.

It’s quite simple to say:  Antti Niemi in net = A chance for the Chicago Blackhawks to get a victory. With Cristobal Huet in net, the chances for a defeat are very high.

Since the beginning of last year, I have said that Cristobal Huet sucks ass. There were numerous people who have tried to argue with me that he is a good goalie. Some of the people who argued this with me I respect as fans. Others I think are fucking morons who have nothing else better to do than criticize every single thing I say. I basically throw out a decent argument and they shoot it down because they think they are “experts”. Well those experts can suck my left nut.

I will remember that no matter what occurs in the playoffs, I know the Blackhawks will have a better chance to succeed with Antti Niemi in net than Cristobal Huet.

Good day.

I agree about Niemi Fro. He puts himself in better position to stop the shot than Huet. He has improved throughout the season. The Blackhawks will go as far as Niemi takes them in the playoffs.

Asshat Huet is going to be picking splinters out of his sphincter sitting on the bench for the next few weeks. Stating the obvious, the Blackhawks will go as far as Niemi will carry them. Don’t know what they did last night yet but that 4 game winning streak is a great sign that they have the ship righted. Let’s just not lose any more defensemen.

    Hi Mac,

I don’t know if it was the Olympic break, or the loss of Brian Campbell that had the Hawk’s sputtering. Good to see them righting the ship before the playoffs start next week. I think the six Olympic stars got a bit tired whithout any break at all.

They can still lock up the top spot in the Western Conference by finishing strong against the Av’s and Red Wings. I do not want to see a first round matchup with Detroit. They are back at full strenghth from all the injuries, and I’m not sure if there is any mental block against them. I’d feel better if they have to face Detroit, it will be in the later rounds.

Keith, Detroit is always scary. The Hawks still have a shot at home ice all the way through the playoffs, don’t they? If I remember right, they were only 2 points behind San Jose; I could be wrong.

Badger hockey over RIT last night 8-1. If I heard right, RIT only had 8 shots on goal. Now the Badgers get Boston College for the NCAA championship Saturday night. Woohoo!
