I use to root for the Irish when I was younger. Especially in that 93-94 season where Kevin McDougal was the quarterback and when they upset Florida State to be #1 in the country. These days, I watch them but I don’t really get too much into them. The Illini are my team (sadly). Although they beat Penn State in Happy Valley for the first time ever. Since Zook took over, they always had good players on the team but since Zook sucks at coaching, they never live up to expectations.
On the topic of the Bears and Clausen, I want the Bears to get to him just as much as you want to. However, these are the Bears we are talking about so I think he is going to have a career game and the Panthers will get their first win of the season in convincing fashion. Not to a pessimist but stating the facts that the Bears are known for letting crappy teams take it to them.
I am fine with Quade getting the job as long as it’s just for next year only. Ricketts would dumber if he signed him long term. Get Quade in there for a year and see what he can do. What’s one more year?

Gotta say….I’m an ND fan (which probably doesn’t make me popular to many), but I can’t wait for the Bears to get to Clausen tomorrow.

Looks like Quade is getting the Cubs manager job, with Sandberg going in as bench coach.
What I can’t figure out is why that dipshit Ricketts even considered anybody else for the job. Even doing the right he looks like a fucking moron.

One year for Quade is ok with me. Sandberg as bench coach is good for now.
What’s one more year? Just 1 of 103!
Hurry up and wait…tick tock.
