By the way, is anybody actually going to the Wisconsin-NIU game at Soldier Field tomorrow? I’d love to, but I’ll be damned if I’m paying $80 for a college football game. If (when) the Badgers make it to the Big 10 championship game in Indianapolis, okay. But a regular season non-conference game? No thanks.
I know a few customers who are going. There are still 20,000 tickets left as of yesterday so I doubt it will be a sellout. Everybody knows that Wisconsin is going to have this game wrapped up by halftime.
Something weird has been going on at Soldier Field as well. I was at the Bears/Falcons game last week and my phone could not get service until I walked back to my car after the game. Some people around me couldn’t get service either and they said that the same problems happened during the preseason games. Every year I went to a Bears game, I had service with no problems.
Fro, The Badgers SHOULD have it wrapped by halftime, but….NIU has a pretty good offense from what I’ve heard, and Dave Doeren, the head coach, was the Badgers’ defensive coordinator last year. I’m not cocky enough to say this game is in the bag, but I sure hope so. On Wisconsin!
I listened to some of the game on the radio. I knew it was over as soon as it was 7-0. Wilson is indeed kicking some ass so far especially for his first year.
I found myself last night getting excited about the Illini for the first time since they beat Ohio State in 2007.

Quade said he has been pleased with the effort this year

The more Quade talks, the more unimpressed I AM with him. He’s a bench coach at best.

Effort? Seriously? Time for “Nickname Boy” to go! Along with “Fanboy” and the Clown!

Sometimes, I truly wonder if Mike Quade isn’t trying to throw the games with his late-game decisions.

STOP. There is no bigger “Fire Jerry Angelo” person than me in the entire known and unknown universe.
I’m just putting everyone on warning.
