As in everything involving the Cubs, nothing comes easy. They finally find a GM with a fucking brain, and the Red Sox decide to hold him hostage. I’ll give fanboy credit for not leaking any information from the Chicago front. All the bullshit has been spewed from the Red Sox side.
It’s mass paranoia in Boston these days. After pissing away a 9-1/2 game wild card lead with four weeks left, they will have to replace a GM and fieid manager this offseason. The same goes for the Cubs, but on a more upward spiral. The Red Sox could soon experience the same downward decent the Cubs have had since 2008.

I read today that Brandon Lloyd is being shopped around by the Broncos. He may not be the best, but I think he is an upgrade from the WRs the Bears have now. I think he could build some trust with Cutler pretty quick too. I doubt the Bears go for him cause they are alergic to signing new talent though. What do you guys think, should they go for him or develop the “talent” that they have?

Where did that thought come from? The placement after the Bucs statement made it confusing. Are you referring to the Raiders game well over a month away?
Also, they won on the West Coast in 09, the last year they travelled out there. They were 1-1 out there.

JimmyD…I have to say, I hate them too. But really. Is that all we can say about them? They are a franchise that knows how to draft and develop players. They have a pitching coach that turns shit into gold. And say what you want about LaRussa. He is a hall of fame manager and now, has a chance to win I believe his third or fourth World Series championship. I’d rather have a jerk like LaRussa managing my team than some “nice guy” like Quade.

Hey, fucknut, Carlos Marmol!!-Yeah, YOU!!! In no small part due to your two-out implosion against the Cardinals in the last week of the season I have to spend the next year dealing with stupid, fucking Cardinal fans giddy over their THIRD World Series appearance in the past 8 seasons!!!!.
Oh, I can taunt them back with a 6-12 record in 3 playoff appearances (and 9 straight losses) in the past 9 years. That will show’em!!! Until they chant 1908.

You’re right…for the most part. It’s an outstanding organization. AND, I don’t have a problem with the “main man” in the dugout; you’re right, he IS a Hall of Fame manager. However, it’s the other piece of shit in the dugout that turns my stomach. That fucking pompous, cheating, lying steroid induced douchecopter shouldn’t be allowed to step anywhere near a ball diamond…PERIOD!!!
