Eating crow.

by

When you’re wrong, you admit it. I’ve said here for the last few years that LeBron James would never win a title. Last year, I wrote an article basically laughing at this fucker for pissing himself in the Finals last year against the Mavericks. Right after the Heat lost to go down 3-2 to the Celtics, I was already preparing myself to write another article saying that LeBron will never get a title. No excuses, but I still felt like the Thunder might have been screwed by the refs in the second game. To be honest though, the Thunder did the same shit the Bulls did to fuck themselves over. That would be stupid turnovers and a ton of a missed free throws (see Game 2-3 box score). He proved us wrong. We admit when we are wrong unlike the idiots who peak their heads in here every now and then only to not show up when they are prove otherwise.

I remember being a kid and hating on Kobe Bryant and to this day, I never realized why. After Shaq left, my opinion changed on him. The guy won without him. I never saw him showing off other opponents and never saw him act like a jerk to people. Sure, he had some personal issues but who he is as a person doesn’t interest me. It’s him as a basketball player. I respect him as a basketball player. My opinion still stands on LeBron James. I am sure he is a nice person. As a basketball player, not one bit. He has his ring now. Good for him. He’s still a fucking punk bitch who will continue piss off opponents by dancing  on the sidelines.

One last note: Eddy Curry also gets a ring out of all of this as well. Although I thought he was taking a step forward with the Bulls before that issue with his heart, this still sucks. Fuck him too.

LeBron earned every bit of hating from basketball fans around the world for all the bullshit he pulled from his last playoff series with the Cavs thru Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

That being said, he DID step up to being the basketball player that everyone touted him to be, took charge of the Heat, and led them to the Promised Land. Eight triple-doubles in the playoffs, including two in the Finals…yes, I agree that he earned his title.

If he truly wants to be an “international icon”, he needs to remember that Michael Jordan got that way by getting multiple (read: SIX) versions of One True Bling: an NBA Championship ring.

Enjoy your moment of glory, LeBron…you have earned it.

    Heal swiftly, Derrick Rose…heal swiftly…

  2. Fro Dog Says:

I highly doubt Rose be the same again. He’s already going to miss all of next season and that tells you how what kind of injury this is.

  3. chucky Says:

Rose will never be the same again. Even if he does come back next year, he must alter his game to prevent further shredding of his knee. His game will radically different. I don’t know if it will mean a new and improved Derrick Rose. But keep in mind that may mean he’ll never be as good as he was. Only time will tell. My hope is that the Bulls don’t bring him back too soon. That could be his ultimate demise in the NBA.

As much as may hate saying this, LeBron EARNED title last night. A triple-double is a hell of a way to end a championship run. I do still wish I could get the taste of “The Decision” out of my mouth though.

  4. Fro Dog Says:

    Scott,

I may have an answer to why we don’t see “Irish Yeti” anymore. Maybe he isn’t Irish anymore? The issue with that is, I haven’t had the “fro” in about five years and everyone still calls me that. Maybe he is an American Yeti or just, in fact, a Yeti. I may need some stats soon so I would like him to return as soon as possible.

  5. genrebuster Says:

    Fro…you may be onto something….

  6. Fro Dog Says:

I am shocked. Just from the history of this, the worst site on the internet, I am never onto anything. I appreciate the good words though. Whatever the case may be, we are going to find the reason behind the mystery that is, Irish Yeti.

  9. DVXPrime Says:

Did Eddy Curry even come off the bench and get playing time in the Finals, much less any of the playoffs? Ditto with Juwan Howard?

  10. Fro Dog Says:

    Pie,

    Excellent video.

    DVX,

Curry didn’t even dress for I believe the entire playoffs. Howard got in with just a few minutes left last night.

  11. DVXPrime Says:

Guuuh. One benchwarming “Fab Five” alumni and another bum who wasn’t even a DNP-CD get the One True Bling. Screw ’em both, they’ll be putting those rings in hock within 3-5 years after they retire.

…and Kwame Brown is holding down a roster spot somewhere in the NBA, if memory serves me right.

Good Lord, I hope the Fire win this weekend…

  12. Pie In The Sky Says:

Hey don’t worry. When 2013-14 rolls around then Miami will have the perfect replacement for Eddy Curry:

“Uncle Greg,” also known as Greg Oden. Maybe Kwame Brown and Metta World Peace can join the fun too.

  13. Fro Dog Says:

Well, this makes my Friday night. Jerry Sandusky was found guilty on 45 of 48 counts of child sex abuse. Supposedly, if he only had one or two counts, it would have been enough for a life sentence. What he did, by far, is the most disgusting thing any human can do. I will be happy if he, along with the Penn State officials who did nothing to stop this to rot in hell.

  14. Pie In The Sky Says:

I would’ve given up on society had he been found innocent. This was a no-brainer.

  15. MadCityMac Says:

The carnage is just starting in “Happy” Valley. Now that that sick bastard Sandusky is going away forever, the Feds can concentrate on the bastards who covered this up as long as they did. Pedophile State is going to be on the hook for millions in civil suits as well. And if you believe in that sort of thing, Sandusky can rot in hell.

  16. chucky Says:

Put him in the yard with the general population for about three days. I guarentee that sick son-of-a-bitch will not survive that. Those people still have some tiny bit of morals left in them, and one of them is YOU DO NOT BUGGER CHILDREN! NO EXCEPTIONS! Right now I really feel like pissing on Joe Paternos grave.

Then napalm the entire state of Pennsylvania. Some asshole out there was wearing a T-shirt that read “release the tickle monster”. Sick fucking bastard, and fat too.

Blast the entire state. St. Louis Cardinal fans are no longer the worst and most obnoxious fans in sports. That distinction goes to Pedophile State Universary. And they will never lose that title as far as I’m concerned.

  17. MadCityMac Says:

Chucky, spot on! I’m sick of the justice system coddling these bastards and keeping them safe from the general population in the joint. I wouldn’t give him even an hour…
Throw the whole fucking book at Penn State.

  18. DVXPrime Says:

I just went back thru Dan Bernstein’s blog posts on Penn State’s tentacles involved in this mess…everybody involved in aiding and abetting Sandusky needs to join him in prison. The whole Penn State/Sandusky/Paterno dumpster fire has (for me) put a black cloud over college football that will never go away…this was the worst example of power corrupting in college sports: everybody protecting a pedophile for the sake of the football program.

  19. chucky Says:

The sick bastard is now on suicide watch. I personally hope that he does not commit suicide. The reason being that I want the bastard in prison a for a few months, with those months being spent as someones BITCH. I want him to feel the humiliation and pain that he inflicted on those boys. Then give him the Jeffrey Dahmer treatment. When it comes to sick shit like this, I am a vengeful person, and although I don’t personally know any of the victims, I do have a niece and a nephew, both grown. All I could think about during this whole ordeal was them, and how I’d react if they were a victim of abuse. I can promise you that.there would not be enough left of that pedophile to identify,

  20. jimmyd Says:

No, this fact isn’t just hitting me…I just felt the need to repeat it once again. Man, the Cubs REALLY suck donkey dick!!!! They are so fucking pathetic.

  21. DVXPrime Says:

No Bears ’til September, no Bulls or Hawks for much later, Cubs suck, Sox are meh; LeBron won his title, Sandusky’s going to jail.

    FIRE. POWER.

    http://www.mlssoccer.com/matchcenter/2012-06-23-chi-v-clb/highlights

…and may I say that there were at least three MLS games with more excitement and more scoring than the Spain-France game in the Euro 2012 quarterfinal today.

  22. Fro Dog Says:

    DVX,

Since you are a huge fan of the Fire, is there anything you can do for them to change their name to the Chicago Fire and Passion? If that gets done, I bet Chucky and I would consider being fans if that was the case.

  23. chucky Says:

Actually, I kind of doubt that. But I don’t have a problem with DVX talking about the Fire. I don’t know anything about soccer, but how many people here follow AMA motorcycle road racing like me?

So go ahead. I’ll try to catch up.

  24. DVXPrime Says:

Just saw the weekly Sportscenter Not Top Ten w/ Mr Middle Finger (Soriano) not even trying to run out a ground ball against the Red Sux. #5 Lowlight of the week. The ESPN announcer joked that he’s mentoring Starlin Castro. He’s just kidding, right?

    RIGHT???

Fire and Passion…not sure about changing the nickname, but it would make a great ad campaign…maybe get Samurai Mike to be the spokesman?

Back to Soriano: if anybody saw that shit, did he get booed for the rest of the game? Did Sveum chew his sorry ass, or even bench him? Is Theo trying to work out a horse-trading deal that gets him off the team?

  25. Pie In The Sky Says:

Sveum and basically the entire Cubs roster defended Soriano after that. In fact, Sveum said nobody in the history of baseball would’ve run that play out.

  26. chucky Says:

Which basically means Sveum is Dusty Baker v.2.

    Fucking wonderful.

  27. Pie In The Sky Says:

So… when do we get to see Anthony Rizzo? He’s got the extra yr of control till 2018…he’s played in 162 games now I think… He has like 49 HR and 163 RBIs in Triple-A since last year…

    They’re facing 2 lefties in this next series…that means LaHair won’t play…

  28. chucky Says:

Yeah, LaHair won’t play, but guess what?

Luis Valbuena will probably play. Oh yeah, and he bats left too. I just don’t get it.

  29. genrebuster Says:

“When we are winning I am tired, but when we are losing and get swept it is mental,” Soriano said. “Losing like we are losing now is tough. The way we are losing is not acceptable.”

Will anybody be happier than me when he is finally gone?

What a team….Hendry should be jailed.
