DVX…..He was. The Cubs dealt him to Boston early in the year(maybe in spring training? I don’t remember for sure.) and Boston let him go a couple of weeks ago. He is currently without a team.

The Cubs traded him to Boston for Michael Bowden around April 21 after he was hitting something like .070. Red Sox eventually cut him too.

Did any of you guys see Travis Woods batting helmet? Someone must have pulled a rib on him. The “C” on the front of the helmet was pushed up to the top of the helmet! And the camera zoomed in on it!

OK, Jeff Samardzija is officially on my “sucks massive amounts of dick” list, and he’s not coming off anytime soon.

…and this is where I have my lovely ladies sporting tight fitting Chicago Fire jerseys and spandex shorts strolling around Wrigleyville and the outskirts of Wrigley Field, handing out flyers: “Half-price on tickets and concessions to any Cubs fans who show up to the next Fire home game wearing Cubs gear!!!”

OMG!!! I just had to go to the Cubs homepage to read about this debacle. The comments were fucking hilarious; here’s a couple of examples:
