Since we’re at the All-Star break , I thought I’d share this little nugget with you guys. I lifted it from a certain Cubs fan website we all know and hate. Now I know he’s just a 12 year old punk ass bitch.
——————————————————–
KANSAS CITY — I’ll be at the Home Run Derby tonight. My seat is in right field, section 251, which, if you look at the Kauffman Stadium seating chart, should give me a decent shot at maybe catching one of the baseballs. Look for me — I’ll be wearing the jersey of a certain retired Cubs pitcher.
——————————————————–
Just when I thought this guy couldn’t become the biggest fucking dork on the planet, he does this and outdoes himself. I’m sure you can figure out who I’m talking about. And the name on the back of that jersey. What a goddamn geek.

Let me guess……
July 10, 2012 at 2:57 pm
I WIN!!! What is my prize?
July 10, 2012 at 3:25 pm
You gotta tell me what your guess is genre. THEN you get your “prize”.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.

“Kingsford” (aka Wood)
July 10, 2012 at 4:17 pm
Yeah, that’s right. Now can you tell me the name of the dork wearing it.
I know you know it!

Dammit, Theo, did I NOT say something about getting the Ricketts’ dumbasses off the stage?

Tom Ricketts….just another guy who needs to be thrown screaming from a helicopter.
July 10, 2012 at 9:03 pm
chucky, what website is this, so I can go over there and make fun of him and call him names and stuff?
July 10, 2012 at 9:08 pm
Yes, I prefer that the Ricketts” family keep their mouths shut until the Cubs actually win it. There is NOTHING for them to spew forth until that happens. 104 years tells the PATHETIC story…all too well.
“Tom Ricketts has donated his fee for writing this column to Chicago Cubs Charities.”
WTF? He gets a fee for writing that crap?
p.s. A.Y. …sorry chucky, I can’t bring myself to typing his name in full….
baaaaaaah baaaaaaaah baaaaaaaaah

DVX…..it’s BleedCubbieBlue.com. Look for a guy named Al. He writes quite alot of fanboylike bullshit in that rag. He’s the one that has reached the level of “Total Dork-osity” in the eyes of millions.
With of course the possible exception of about 3 or 4 other dorks who go there on a regular basis.
You’re gonna love this shit man. Seriously.
July 10, 2012 at 9:26 pm
Don’t worry genre. You’re on the right track.

When are Bud and the owners going to realize that the all-star game is a farce? Can’t they find a different way of making their money. How low do the TV ratings have to get? The era for this came and went a long time ago. People have more options to see different teams play now, including the inter-league games. Give all of the players 3 days off in July and call it a mid-season break.
The best part of yesterday’s game was Washington’s post-game interview. He sounded annoyed about Verlander’s low velocity, the NL lineup teed-off and won the game in inning #1.
July 11, 2012 at 10:57 pm
I guess Bud doesn’t care; he has the power.
I still don’t understand how he’s able to be an owner AND the commish. Something stinks in baseball land (besides the Ricketts family and the Cubs).
July 12, 2012 at 11:17 am
As long as people continue to attend, and Fox Sports gets its viewership, the atrocity known as the All-Star Game will continue. I think a couple of AGSs showing half-empty stadiums and sharply declining TV ratings should send a good warning shot across the bow.
On another note, the rumor has it that the Bulls will actually try to match Houston’s offer sheet for Omer Asik.
Rly? Srsly?
July 12, 2012 at 12:58 pm
I swear, this would be the dumbest decision in the history of basketball, or even sports. If they are telling us that there isn’t another 7’0 guy out there who has bad hands, who can’t shoot or pass and can’t hold onto a basketball, then I am convinced that this franchise is dumber than I thought. Omer Asik is a disgrace to actual, NBA players.

Time for Pedophile State to get the death penalty!
July 12, 2012 at 7:16 pm
Not a bad idea, Mac. As bullshit as this is going to sound, the NCAA’s jurisdiction is only enforcing their own telephone book of NCAA regulations; sadly they don’t cover the the football coach, AD, and senior university personnel letting a pedophile operate on campus. However, I would love to see the Pennsylvania DA or even the Dept of Justice (taking time from their busy schedule of suing states for voter ID and immigration laws) send every swinging dick involved in this mess to jail for the next 10-20 years…
July 12, 2012 at 11:05 pm
So it turns out that Joe Paterno really did cover this shit up and it was worse than we all thought. Supposedly, they were going to report it and then Paterno and a couple others stopped it from happening.
So even after that, they still let Sandusky coach and be on their property all that time? What a bunch of a sick bastards. It was a team effort and all of these motherfuckers should be locked up as DVX said.
This is the worse thing I have ever seen in sports. I said this before but what Sandusky did was the sickest shit any human can do. But what makes this even worse was that a bunch of people knew about it and didn’t do anything about it.
July 13, 2012 at 6:55 am
Fro and DVX, yup! I do believe the NCAA, if they so choose, could and should use the old “lack of institutional control”. Fro, this is absolutely the worst scandal in the history of sports. I got into it with some idiot yesterday who said this isn’t a “football scandal”. Um, yeah it is. The FOOTBALL COACH, who ran the university basically, said no, we’re not going to tell anybody, thereby letting that sick fuck Sandusky continue doing what he did. Chicken shit Paterno took the easy way out by dying. Pedo State is going to be shelling out a lot of green to settle this, and Spanier, Schultz, and Curley are all going to do time, along with Sandusky never seeing the light of day again.

This just in!

July 13, 2012 at 11:46 am
Here’s my counter proposal.
Leave the city of Chicago alone and untouched. Tear down Wrigley Field and napalm the surrounding area extending about two miles away from the field. But make sure every one of these stupid dicksmoking retards are in Wrigley at the time of destruction. Then designate the entire area a complete and total dead zone for the next 187 years to be sure all the goddamned stupidity from these douchecopters is destroyed and buried as well.
We may not see the end result of all of this, but at least our great-grandchildren will be safe.
July 13, 2012 at 3:53 pm
I see you and raise, chucky:
I’d also make sure the surviving Daley family, Rahm Emmanuel, the army of assholes presently shooting up Chicago, the powers that be running TribuneCo and the entire Illinois Democratic Party machine be standing among said douchecopters.
Everybody who has had a hand in and/or profited from the Cubs’ malaise and Chicago’s state of chaos can damn well join them.
July 13, 2012 at 4:34 pm
DVX….hell that’s chump change!
I’ll see that and raise you one RNC, one DNC, actually, anyone who has a job with a [R] or [D] behind their fucking names, state and federal.
As Jesse Ventura once said, I’m an equal opportunity hater of both parties.
July 13, 2012 at 5:45 pm
Gentleman,
Not trying to turn this discussion into a political one, but I have to jump in. As a small business owner along with my family, Governor Pat Quinn and anybody in Chicago are the biggest scumbags in politics. With Quinn, he raised tobacco prices in a huge way and it’s fucking up the tax system even more. This state is broke and yet, he continues to tax the people that are broke? What a fucking dumbass.
The fact that any family or company asking the state/city for money is absurd and vice versa. If they really want their money, they should lower taxes and prices of services and therefore, people will spend more. Or, dare I say, legalize marijuana. I am not a smoker of any kind but what I do know from common sense, the economy would be out the shitter in a short amount of time (five to ten years).
Welcome to Illinois. The most corrupt state in the union.
July 13, 2012 at 7:07 pm
It wouldn’t take five years Fro. I agree with what you said, but the state isn’t the only thing that is corrupt. DC is a goddamned cesspool of dog shit, and I can’t even say in jest what it’s going to take to clean it up. Lately, I’ve been doing everything I can to adapt the legendary George Carlins view on politics: I don’t give a fuck because I have no stake in the outcome. I’ve been listening to quite a bit of Carlin on Youtube, and the guy was an absolute GENIUS!
Fro….Just curious, are you watching Money in the Bank on Sunday? I’m ashamed to admit, but I watched the TNA PPV last Sunday. One word for it: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I have no idea how they are still in business.
July 13, 2012 at 8:18 pm
Chucky i am ok with destroying the park on two conditions moe hendry and al yellon are there when its done
July 13, 2012 at 9:47 pm
chucky and Fro Dog…much respect!
Kinda switching topics here, but did anybody see Matt Millen’s dumbass comments on ESPN regarding the Freeh Report?
Matt Millen ran the Detroit Lions into the ground for seven years as their GM, then ESPN and NFL Networks have the nerve to hire him for his “football insights” (rly? srsly?)…and every time he has to discuss the Penn State scandal, he goes into the tank for Joe Paterno? How does he continue to draw a paycheck for such bullshit? Hoiw bad does he have to get before someone fires his ass?

Thank you, Deadspin.

July 13, 2012 at 10:28 pm
Chucky,
I am watching the show on Sunday. I only pray you didn’t pay to watch the TNA show last week. But I hear that Austin Aries is a good wrestler and some of the fanatics are excited that we won the title.
I watched bits and pieces of TNA in the last few weeks but as you said, it can make you sleepy. At least with WWE, I can fast forward through some of the stuff until something of importance happens.
Getting back to Money In The Bank, it should be a decent show. I could watch Bryan vs. Punk every week and not get tired of it.
July 14, 2012 at 8:36 am
Pay for a PPV?
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
The last one I paid for was InVasion 2001. What I do today is stream it, and if it’s a good enough show, I’ll buy the DVD. Wrestlemania is pretty much automatic. I’m not sure what the last DVD PPV was that I bought.
The Wrestlemania DVDs are kind of a funny story. It usually comes out right before I go up to Elkhart Lake in June. There is a Walmart next door to the hotel I stay at. I get the DVD up there, and watch it on my little portable DVD player in my hotel room.
As for TNA Limpact, I just checked out the PPV last Sunday out of curiousity. I won’t spend a fuckin dime on that company. It was as bad as I thought it would be. They are starting to make WCW in 2000-01 actually look good. Even with Russo out of the picture, they suck goat balls. Hogan isn’t helping either. I hear he’s going in for more back surgery soon.
Buh-Bye! Don’t come back asshole.

Presenting, for the FLS audience on this balmy Sunday evening:
Four straight wins, although Marmol almost fucked up again (he has 10 saves? Rly?). Submitted for your discussion:
http://network.yardbarker.com/mlb/article_external/the_chicago_cubs_are_playing_much_better_fundamental_baseball/11224327
…and the Fire lead the way for a halfway decent weekend in Chicago sports:
July 19, 2012 at 12:05 am
Good thing the game was called in the 8th because of the storm, because with a 4 run lead, Marmol was probably going to give up 5 in the 9th and they would lose.
July 19, 2012 at 9:57 am
it could happen.
