What will it take for Cubs management and ownership to dump this guy?
Is it not obvious? Marmol is NOT a CLOSER!
Enough is enough.
Who is impressed with Dale Sveum as manager? Somebody? Anybody?

I have a question for you big badger fans one of your alum justin schultz just signed with the oilers what can i ecpect to see out of them…..can someone spin marmol around buy the god damn ears and then let chucky kick him in the nuts

Robert, Schultz is a good one. 2 time All American, Hobey Baker finalist. Good defensive defenseman but led the Badgers in goals scored last season. I was sorry to see him go but don’t blame him one bit. Arguably the 3rd best free agent behind Zach Parise and Ryan Suter (another former Badger and the son of a high school acquaintence of mine, Bob Suter, who played on the “Miracle on Ice” Olympic team).

Robert…there is no way in hell I’d kick Marmol in the nuts. I will however be more than happy to bash him in the head 30-40 times with a bowling trophy. That, or I could lock him in a portable toilet and set him on fucking fire.
Talk about FUN SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And can we finally end the Jeff Samardzija experiment too? The Mets are leading 3-0, and it’s not going to get any better. The long haired bitch is going to get crushed again.
July 7, 2012 at 4:23 pm
The Marmol and Samardzija experiments won’t end anytime this season.
Who they gonna replace Samardzija with? Casey Coleman? Chris Volstad? Randy Wells? Rodrigo Lopez? This is why they drafted pitcher-heavy in the 2012 draft.
I’ve kind of given up on the closer situation because nobody else can do it. Oh how I’d love to have a reliable closer…

Okaaay…the Cubs take 2 of the three from the Amazin’ Mess (Dempster gets a shutout…who knew?) while I watch the Fire get shut out at home.
Meanwhile, the Bulls bring back Kirk Hinrich. A good move, or is Reisendorf being a cheap bastard again? In light of this, let’s discuss:

Fuuuck…almost Monday already?

The Bulls aren’t cheap. They spend money but in the wrong places at times (Boozer). If they actually match the Rockets’ offer for Asik, that would show you that they are dumber than we thought.
If Asik is let go and Boozer somehow gets the amnesty clause or traded (we can only pray), then they can be able to spend more down the road. Hinrich took a discount because he still lives in the area. I am fine with him being here. Because of the new luxury tax rules, the Bulls could have still signed better players but the penalties are much worse than in years’ past. I think before, it was an extra dollar for every dollar over the cap. I think the cash amounts are doubled now. Maybe Irish Yeti could tell us?
A side note on Reinsdorf, I feel like he contributed to the demise of the championship teams just as much as Krause did. Everyone knew that Krause was going to break that team up when they could have won at least one more title, maybe two. Instead of firing that fat fuck, Reinsdorf sat on his hands and watched. Then, Krause resigns a few years later and left the Bulls in a mess that they are still in, to this day.

Scott,
I still hold out a prayer that he returns. Then again, I hold out a prayer that Lovie Smith gets fired.

Every once in a while i will go to bcb to see how ignorant al yellon is he stated the cubs are 9-4 since rizzo was called up but he said rizzo is not making a diffrence at all so i have a question dusty always called wood his horse and wanted him in cincy yellon almost cried when he worried wood would sign elsewhere so my question is are al yellon and dusty baker one and the same and to steal a quote from genre do they break bread together at thanks giving

How is Rizzo not making a difference? .354 with 4 homers and 9 RBIs in like 2 weeks… 8 of 17 hits were extra-base hits. The kid has definitely given them a boost, both statistically and in the clubhouse.
