It’s a possible option. Now, if Lovie wants to stick his foot up all of our collective asses by taking the Bears to the Super Bowl and wining it, then that’s fine too.
Then again, Ted Phillips sounds great. I’ll welcome any other suggestions and we’ll sort it all out in two or three weeks.
I believe this is correct in every major sport, but the owners of the teams hire/fire/pay the comissioner so only they, can dismiss one. That’s why you never see Bettman gone. The owners love him so much, that they are losing money right now but don’t give a crap because they can afford to lose a season and some players can’t.
Fro…I’ll believe it when it happens. Despite all the radio hosts on The Score saying the old bitch has nothing to do with the day to day operations of the team, I still think she likes the stupid bastard, and is pulling whatever strings necessary to retain him. But believe me, I hope to hell that you’re right.
You know what I’m actually hoping for? I’m hoping that the Bears do end up winning the last two games, finish at 10-6, but none of the other 5 or 6 scenarios happen, and the Bears miss out on the playoffs. That could happen too, and then that retarded fuckbag will have his face completely covered with shit for saying all those losses were not must-win games. In any event, I’m with you on wanting him gone. Whatever it takes.
There is something else too that nobody has mentioned yet, which surprises me. If the Bears top brass has some of Lovies stupid pills for Christmas and decides to keep him on for next year, what do you think the reaction will be like? I’d be willing to bet it’ll be a PR disaster of epic proportions. Either way, this is a situation that has gotten really, really ugly. And it was so unnecessary.

Fro…how about going after some of the esteemed commissioners in sports today.
Fire Bud Selig
Fire Gary Bettman
Fire Roger Goodell
All those sound good to me. The thing is, how are these people dismissed? My idea may not be workable. But it sure sounds good, doesn’t it?
