Since our beloved Bears are in hibernation and the Bulls continue to suck, there are a couple things we could discuss.

The Illini pulled out two wins out of their asses against Indiana and Minnesota!

Also, the Blackhawks have been kicking some ass. I’ll be at the game next Sunday against the Kings. Also, I love Jonathon Toews. Just saying.

Fro….Did you by chance hear Dan Bernstein yesterday say that Tom Thibodeau is the second best coach in the NBA, right behind Popovich? I can’t quite figure out where the hell he gets that, unless he’s going by his regular season record, something that he says doesn’t really mean of whole hell of a lot. Especially if it is the Miami Heat, and their god-like player named LeBron James.

  2. Fro Dog Says:

I don’t know what the hell is going on with Bernstein lately (or ever). I heard a little bit about that. I don’t buy it. Thomass is running his players into the ground with his piss-poor decisions. You aren’t a great coach unless you succeed in the postseason and even then, you have to make the right decisions in the regular season too. It isn’t worth shit to win 50-60 games a year only to get bounced in the first round.

Look at what the Spurs did to the Bulls on Monday night. They sat four players I believe and still took it to them. I knew at halftime, that the Bulls weren’t going to come back. It’s, what Genre would say, PATHETIC.

  3. chucky Says:

I can’t figure out what is going on with Bernstein myself. He’s also mentioned the playing time Thibodeau has these guys on. Yet he says he’s number 2 in the league. Which is it? If Thibs is number 2, the bar has been set too low.

Is Noah going to the All-Star game? He has no business going there with his foot problems. Has Thibodeau talked to him about not going? If he hasn’t, that to me is good enough reason to unload him.

Here’s a little something for you guys out there who need a really good laugh.

I actually had tears in my eyes reading this.

By the way, Noah is playing tonight. Thibodeau is a fucking idiot.

  5. Fro Dog Says:

Bulls lose 71-69 to the Celtics.

22 turnovers, 12/17 on free throws and Joakim Noah played 43 minutes. Yes. He’s still going to the All Star Game. Even more of a reason to keep him out of this game because he really wanted to play on Sunday. But that’s alright.

You cannot make this shit up.

  6. chucky Says:

Fuck, did the Bulls suck tonight. Boston scores 11 in the second, and 8 in the third, AND THEY STILL CAN’T BEAT THEM? WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?!?!? I got another one too. The Bulls went 12-17 on free throws, and lost the game by two points.

What were you saying a while ago Fro about the Bulls missing their free throws?

Yeah, fuck Thibodeau. That was one of the ugliest games I ever saw. What a fucking joke. And yeah, Derrick Rose shouldn’t bother coming back this year. What would be the point?

  7. Fro Dog Says:

I see we posted at the same time. Good point. This is becoming un-watchable. It made my day though to see your link about Angelo. Another fucking hack that was ran out of town way longer than it should have taken.

Anybody else still happy that Lovie and Angelo are gone?

  8. chucky Says:

ME!!! ME!!! ME!!! ME!!! ME!!! ME!!! ME!!! ME!!!

  9. genrebuster Says:

    Me, too!!!!!

  10. Fro Dog Says:

It’s going to be so damn refreshing in late July when the Bears arrive in Bourbonnais and not see Lovie on the sidelines for the first time in a decade. I am glad we will never have to hear “We are a good football team” anymore.

  11. chucky Says:

    “Rex is our quarterback.”

“Our first prioroty is to beat the Grean Bay Packers.”

“That wasn’t a “must win” game for us.”

    “We like our football team.”

Fro…you’ve just made the understatement of year.

  12. genrebuster Says:

The Dusty Baker of NFL coaches…btw, where did Lovie end up getting a job for next year?

  13. chucky Says:

    No.

  14. Pie In The Sky Says:

    Lovie Smith is still unemployed.

  15. Fro Dog Says:

    Hey Chucky.

TNA is coming to the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates next month. Tickets are about $13 for great seats. You up for it? I know it’s TNA and I haven’t watched it in forever but for that price, I’ll probably check it out.

  16. chucky Says:

Thanks Fro, but I’ll pass. TNA is just too unwatchable right now. And if I see Hogan I may not be able to resist kicking him in the fuckin nuts.(YAR!)

I’ll tell you this. They have only one guy who I really do like, and that’s James Storm. He’s got the wrong gimmick in my estimation. He would look really good coming down to the ring on a custom Harley. But it would be WWE ring, not TNA. Yeah, it would be recycling an older gimmick, but goddamn he looks like he should be on top of a big, bad-ass, chromed out Fat Boy. Can you just imagine The Undertaker taking him under his wing, so to speak? That would be awesome.

One more “by the way”. Did you see Jack Swaggers new manager. His name is Zeb Coulter, AKA Dutch Mantell.

  17. Fro Dog Says:

I honestly thought about “what if” you saw the Hulkster there. If I were a betting man, I’d say you would immediately get out of your seat, run over the barricade and kick him right in the nuts before security gets a hold of you and arrest you. I admit that I would find it utterly hilarious. I agree that’s it would be a pain in the ass to watch. I liked Styles at one point but ever since Hogan and Bischoff arrived, it’s been even worse.

I never heard of Zeb Coulter until Monday night. I don’t think many people have.

  18. chucky Says:

You have heard of Dutch Mantell, right?

  19. Fro Dog Says:

I have not. He was before my time. I did not know anything about him until after Monday when I looked him up.

  20. chucky Says:

He’s been around forever. He debuted in 1973. Here’s a link to his Wikipedia page.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_Mantel

He actually isn’t before your time. He was “Uncle Zeb” in the WWF and managed Jacob and Eli Blu(Harris Brothers) and also Justin “Hawk” Bradshaw(JBL) back in the 90’s. I have to admit it, I didn’t recognize him until I read who he was.

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
