D rose says today hes not ruling out playing at some point in the series, Im personally sick of this shit. This is a major distraction to the team and its making Rose look more like a pussy every game he doesnt play and we can see him in his ugly suit jumping off the bench just fine. Muscle memory my ass! I think this guy is good but far from great! 2-3 more years and he could be an afterthought after some new guards come up that are faster, have a jumpshot, and are not damaged goods.
Great Job Chicago Bulls! Noah has come a LONG way since that geek on draft day and has grown into the man! Jimmy mother fuckin Buckets your UN-COOKED! NaTe Robinsons heart is as big as LeBrons ego. Cant wait for game 2!!
Dear Frodog, Just fyi I have been around since the Fire Dusty days run by Bobby D, actually heard about the site from Mike Murphy 670 am the score! I have posted from time to to time under random names but mostly just checked out what was going on, loved the fire Dusty theme, then Hendry, Angelo, and Lovie Lee but im not all in on Thibs, My only knock on the guy is overplaying his players, other then that I feel he does a fine job. Who else is out there??? So I gotta ask, ever consider a name change?? I think Dale Sveum or the boy genius Theo would be a much better target. How about if they sweep the Heat you have to promise to change the name that day?? and if not still think about it? By the way.. thank you for keeping this going, cool place to come and I will have more time to bullshit now
cubs suck, nice to know another “original member” is here. I’m with you…at this point in time I think Sveum is a better target than Thibs. The fact that he continues to put Marmol on the mound is reason enough…
I get that everyone here is in some frenzy over one game. Let me preface by saying that the Bulls did the same thing two years ago but only to promptly lose four straight in embarrassing fashion. One game isn’t going to change my opinion.
Also, I am not letting this convince me to change the name of this site. Thibodeou still misuses his players and is the main reason why Derrick Rose tore his ACL last year. He was still playing in a game with them up double-digits with under two minutes to go. For more, see the “Reasons to fire Tom” on the right-hand side of the homepage. Some may agree with me. Some won’t.
I appreciate a few of you long time guys coming back here. It’s nice to see you guys are still around eight years later.
While I agree that Thibodeau should go, I’m beginning to get a bad feeling about Marc Trestman. I hope I’m wrong, and I know he hasn’t even had his first game yet, but something doesn’t seem right. Call it a gut feeling. Fro, maybe just keep it in mind around November or December. You might want to add his name to Thibodeau’s.
Yeti, you’re on thin ice here and Chucky isn’t the only one that wants you off. If you happen to fall into the water, there will be a Mount Rushmore which includes TDubbs, Greg M. and my all-time favorite, Mike D.
You continue to be the biggest douche bag on the net. Let’s fire one of the top 3 coaches in the league. Please go to another city if you are so unhappy with Chicago sports.
By the way douche bag Fro Dog, that picture of you with the Raptor girls looks like a hostage photo. I assume that’s what Bin Laden looked like without a beard.
Greg gets banned and then, works his way around it. I’m on it again.
And…
Banned.
Also, I think I look good with those Raptors cheerleaders. I actually had one more lady in that pic but had to crop it out so it would fit. If you click on that second pic, that one is a Bulls cheerleader named Monique who came to Dekalb a while back. She is no longer on the Luv-A-Bulls sadly. But anyway Greg, nice comment about it being a “hostage” photo. I wish I was held with those women. Some gorgeous women have made their way out of the Great White North.

For the record Im not in a “Frenzy” over 1 game and took the time to review your reasons to fire tom and heres what I cam up with…..
Reasons To Fire Tom (Updated 04/12/13)
1. Leaving Derrick Rose in Game 1 of the 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals even though they were up double-digits with just over one minute to go. He tears his ACL and it ruins the team’s chance to contend for a title and worse, possibly ruining the career of Rose.
1. You can’t blame an injury like this on any 1 person, you should know being a sports fan that freak injuries can happen at any time, if Rose tears the acl in the first 5 minutes wheres your argument? If memory serves me correct Rose had a few nagging injuries all that season and the bulls had a better record without him, he needed the minutes
2. In addition to the first reason, Deng and Noah are currently #1 and #3 respectively, in most minutes played in the league. They still haven’t had a chance to sit down yet. He also refuses to let younger players play in meaningful minutes. We call that Dusty Baker Syndrome.
2. I got nothing, This is one of my knocks on Thibs, needs to find a happy medium for bench time (See Gregg Popovich)
3. When up 30 points late in games, he still has starters playing.
3. This is kind of rewording #2 ya think?
4. 2012-2013 Bulls to now, a 25-point blown lead to the Bucks in which they lost. Early January, a 15-point lead to the same Bucks and they lost that game too.
4. This happens allot to other teams as well, Hes Thibs hes not God, I know this is cliche but hes not on the court, I know its his job to light the fire but sometimes a coach can only do so much, then its on the players
5. Allowing the Knicks to score 40 points in one quarter in two different games in which they nearly blew those two games as well (double-digit leads late).
5 Once again rewording #4, (see above reply)
6. Playing C.J. Watson in meaningful minutes in his first two years as coach.
6 C.J. was horrible to watch but remember Rose being hurt allot and John Lucas 3 already playing, No Tear Hamilton , who else should he play Mike James??
7. Vinny Del Negro out-coaches him and beats the Bulls in two games this season and has a better record for his team.
7 You think the Clips are a Joke? This teams for real, I would give you this if it was a crappy team but its not, Vinny has some ballers in LA
8. This season, they had their asses kicked by the Pistons, Raptors (twice), Bobcats, Suns, Wizards (twice) and Cavaliers. Let me repeat those six teams: The Pistons, Raptors (twice), Bobcats, Suns, Wizards (twice) and Cavaliers.
8 See #4 and #5
9. Joakim Noah has plantar fasciitis in his other foot. What causes this? Too much stress on the foot; see #2. What happens when Noah returns? Yep. He’ll be out there playing at a minimum, 40 minutes in games. Nice going Thomass.
9 See #2 and #3
10. This season, they have played the Pacers three times, losing all of them. It’s tough to be the best when you can’t beat the best team in your own division.
10 See #4,#5,and #8 I can reword stuff to make it look like more too.
11. They lost by 42 points to the Sacramento Kings on March 13th.
11 Jan 14 held the Hawks to 57 total points , goes both ways buddy
12. Having three different double-digit leads against the Dallas Mavericks on March 30th, only to blow every one of them. 97-85 lead with under four minutes to go, missed free throws/lay-ups, Mavericks go on a 15-1 run to win 100-98.
12 See #4,#5,#8,#10 , I think you just reaching at this point and can do allot better
I get what you’re saying. At the same time, I try to list specific games/details with my arguments. All that being said, I stick with what I say and won’t back off from them, I appreciate the argument and we’ll agree to disagree.
1. As a head coach he is 157 – 73 .683 win percentage, The man wins ballgames
2. He is a Defensive Guru , Its nice to see this in Chicago because I havent seen it in awhile ..(DelNegro,Boylan,Skiles ,Floyd cant hold a candle to this guy on defense)
3. He turned Jimmy Butler into a defensive BEAST , I watched this kid play at Marquette and hes really stepped up his D
4. Hes unlocked potential in Nate Robinson after hes been riding pine and changing area codes for quite some time
5. This year he took a group of scrap heap players and have them playing game 2 of the conefrence semis(to be continued) and should be considered for coach of the year
6. They stopped the Heats 27 game streak, I dont care if it didnt mean anything it was freekin awesome!!
7. Who else you have in mind? Jackson? thats not happening… Mike Brown?? hahahaha, Unless its Pop or Rivers I dont even wanna hear it and I dont think they are going anywhere, You have one of the best coaches in the league, be happy with it!!
8. Whatever this man is selling the team is buying and I like it, This team has heart and it reflects the leadership, that doesnt come along every day
9. With everything working against him he makes no excuses and always believes they have enough to win, great attitude!
10. This is his FIRST head coaching job and has made the playoffs ALL 3 YEARS, Give the guy a break…. Fire Dale Sveum
“The Chicago Cubs are saddened to hear news of the untimely death of Maureen Oleskiewicz. We express our deepest sympathy to her family and friends. We will continue to keep her family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time”
woman choked to death on a hot dog at wrigley, tough to imagine this happening around 30,000 people, just goes to show you anything at any time,
“Gregg is our closer,” manager Dale Sveum said before Wednesday’s game. “That’s pretty much the way it is right now. He’s obviously earned it. And now there is a bigger sample out there to know that.”
What a wonderful display of basketball by the Bulls. The Bulls proved they are the Vancouver Canucks of basketball by picking fights with a team that’s better than them while thinking it would “light a fire” but instead, it was the exact opposite. A whole bunch of forced turnovers, stupid fouls and horrible shots lead to this ass kicking. And no, I am not blaming the coach.
Then, there was some competition between the Bulls on who could do the dumbest thing. I am assuming the conversation including the following and Chucky may agree:
Joakim Noah: I’m going to get a technical foul!
Taj Gibson: No. I’M GOING TO GET A TECHNICAL FOUL.
The second half is underway and it just gets more comical:
Marcus Teague: FINE. Now, anything you can do, I can better. I’M GOING TO GET A TECHNICAL FOUL.
Joakim: Alright. Well, I’m going to get ejected!
Taj: NO…I’M GOING TO GET EJECTED.
Joakim: NO! NO! NO!
And with that, the Bulls suffered their worst playoff lost in franchise history.
That was hard to watch last night, Part of that was on Thibs, call a time out tell the kids to cut the shit, should have emptied the bench middle of the 3rd, concede the game and get ready for the important home games!!
Nice job Fro but I like to think it went more something like this….
Taj: Hey man Kirks got some good jokes tonight, you guys gotta hear them.Rip Tears wife sent cookies!
Joakim: Really, I got to get over there, hey you know if we get ejected we get a break?
Jimmy: wow guys I got to sit tonight, Vlads got the new angry birds!!
Joakim: Oh? im going to go check that out, watch this….
Taj: be right there.
How about more jabber of Rose playing game 3, Ill believe it when I see it
I was at the game last night. It was a fun one to be at. Crawford has been outstanding. I know in the loss, I might have given up a goal or two that shouldn’t have went in but the next game, a shutout and he made a bunch of great saves last night.
My favorite Hawks game was about 4 years ago, they gave out cheap plastic blackhawks hardhats that night, Toews gets what appeared to be his 3rd goal of the night, here comes 10,000 plastics hats flying everywhere, the goal is reviewed and taken away, 5 minutes later Toews gets his 3rd goal, here comes another 10,000 hats, it was great!

….the stench of Jim Hendry remains to this day.

I dont know any other coach that could have beat the heat the way the bulls have this year, with the line up the bulls have.
P.S. Long time viewer, first time commenter.

Reasons To Keep Tom Thibodeau

I’m changing the subject here for a minute.
Guess who wants the Cubs in their city now. The city of Cicero. Now, let’s see how Fanboy fucks this up.
May 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm
I’m OK with Fire Dale Sveum, regardless
May 8, 2013 at 4:01 pm
I wish we could fire Fanboy…..

… Are we heading forward or BACKWARD in this rebuild? Guess he can’t suck as much as the rest of the ‘pen, but still…
May 8, 2013 at 11:18 pm

And with that, the Bulls suffered their worst playoff lost in franchise history.
May 9, 2013 at 7:03 am
“The rebuild” is stumbling along…
Congratulations to Yeti. Gregg is now OFFICIALLY the Cubs closer.
Have fun, it’s going to be a GREAT season! And, Marmol is still around, too….in case Gregg can’t handle it! Do I smell success?
Wheeee wheeeeeee wheeeeee wheeeeeeeeee
Baaaaaaaaah baaaaaaaah baaaaaaaaaah baaaaaaah

My favorite Hawks game was about 4 years ago, they gave out cheap plastic blackhawks hardhats that night, Toews gets what appeared to be his 3rd goal of the night, here comes 10,000 plastics hats flying everywhere, the goal is reviewed and taken away, 5 minutes later Toews gets his 3rd goal, here comes another 10,000 hats, it was great!
