Not me. But let’s be honest, most of that is true. We as fans have a different regime in place now. Most of that garbage was from the dump that was, Jerry Angelo and Lovie Smith. Things are being ran much differently now and of course, we don’t know what will happen long term but I still think the Bears are in a better place now.
The Phillies are going nowhere this season, so it will be interesting to see if they treat this as an audition for Sandberg to be a permanent hire.
I remember when Sandberg wanted to manage the Cubs and the prevailing opinion here was not to do it. Of course, now we are stuck with fucking Dale Sveum. If we were going to hire a first-time manager, I would have preferred Sandberg. I’ll be watching to see how he does.
I think the Cubs knew they were going to really suck for what would have been his first years and didnt want to give him that kind of pressure, plus with his pull in Chicago would be tough to fire him, should be interesting to see what he does, good luck Ryno!
The Bears picked up Jordan Palmer and Trent Edwards to compete for the third spot on the depth chart. Anybody but Russell is fine with me. Edwards sucked with Buffalo a few years ago and I had no idea Palmer was even in the NFL to begin with. Let the battle of the suck begin!

Ryne Sandberg is the interim manager of the Phillies: http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/phillies/20130817_Manuel_to_announce_retirement_.html?fhg
