The honeymoon has ended.

by

That’s enough. I am sick of this shit already. Everyone is to blame. This is inexcusable. The Bears are now tied with both the Packers and Lions in the loss column for first place. The sad part out of all of this is, that if they just won last week, this loss stings less and they are still in first place by themselves.

So what happens in this game? Let me make this quick. The defense can’t cover any receivers. Eric Weems serves no purpose in the NFL. Earl Bennett all of a sudden, can’t catch. Lance Briggs seals the deal for the Bears by jumping offsides. A lot of players are hurt.

I think a lot of people expected the Bears to lose this game. I think it’s just how they lose is what pisses all of us off. What’s worse? Another game four days later against the Giants. Thanks Roger Goodell. Do yourself a favor and jump off Sears Tower you fucking hack.

What the fuck is with this bunch and having to play in the second quarter. The Lions lit them up for 27 last week, then Brees gets his 2 TDs in the second quarter this week? If the Bears handle their business in the second quarter of both games, they’re 5-0. Dammit, Bears the game is four 15-minute quarters. Wake the fuck up already!

I put everyone was to blame and while generally, that is true, Cutler didn’t do much to piss any of us off. Sure, he could have thrown a couple passes better but this loss is mainly on the defense for fucking up.

  3. Earl Bennett's Facemask Says:

What the fuck-the possession receiver can’t catch a perfectly thrown ball on a possession down?!!?!

  4. Lance Briggs' sense of timing Says:

I’m gonna leap through and blow up that 4th and 1 !!!

Fro….I have perhaps a really dumb question. Who is responsible for hired a commissioner, whether it’s baseball, football, or whatever? The reason I ask is because I’m wondering if we shouldn’t start targeting some of these worthless hacks. Thank god we only have just one more year of terror from Selig, but I’m starting to think Goodells face would look good on that banner, with the caption “Fire Roger Goodell”. Thoughts?

  6. chucky Says:

Change “hired” to hiring. I’m a dumbass.

  7. Fro Dog Says:

I believe it’s the same in every other sport that the owners are the ones that elect a commissioner and pay their salary. There is no way the owners would vote to toss Goodell. They don’t give a shit if there are, for example, Thursday night games. They are going to get their money no matter what and at this time, the profits are higher than ever.

This is just great. Everything is crumbling. The Bears have lost three defensive tackles in three weeks and while there are no excuses, it’s not like they can find replacements on the streets that can perform at a high level. And if anyone thinks that this next game against the Giants will be in a walk in the park, you are deeply mistaken.

  8. genrebuster Says:

It could be worse…see “Tony Romo”. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

  9. Fro Dog Says:

Ouch. You talk about somebody who was having the game of his life and in one pass, it all crumbles. There was zero defense in that game until that pick. So hey, the Bears aren’t the only team that has trouble covering receivers.

  10. Cubs Suck Says:

I would rather have Tony Romo over Jay Cutler

  11. genrebuster Says:

You can have him. I’ve seen Romo choke EVERY TIME a big game was on the line. I’m willing to observe Cutler this year before I demote him to “Romo status”.

Cutler is far from perfect…but I’m not counting him out just yet.

  12. Cubs Suck Says:

I have to admit I was mildly excited when the Chicago Bears did something unheard of and made the trade for Mr Jay Cutler but was immediately skeptical of him whining to get out of Denver when they wanted to replace him. I figured he was the best potential quarterback for the Bears in my lifetime lets see what happens… After the multiple pick games and getting sacked like a rag doll I saw why Denver was seeking a replacement. The 2010 NFC title game was it, not only does he leave the game with a “knee injury: I thought was fishy right away… ok I get it players get hurt but when there is a video of him walking around Hollywood with his skank 3 days after the “knee injury” it was all the confirmation I needed to say Jay Cutler is a HACK! Since then I personally hate this guy, I think he is a piece of shit and can write a dissertation about why but that would take way to long. This guy has been making the same stupid mistakes for too long and has failed he has showed he is a professional by correcting them. Kind of like what was said with Lovie, you can only go down the same road for so long and you have to take a turn, I can think of 15 other QB’s in the league right now allot better then Cutler and really hope for a change. Fire Jay Cutler!!! Go Bulls!

  13. Cubs Suck Says:

“his guy has been making the same stupid mistakes for too long and has failed he has showed he is a professional by correcting them”

Supposed to say he has failed to show he is a professional by correcting them, See even I correct my mistakes and didnt even say I was distracted like Brandon Marshall

  14. chucky Says:

Cubs Suck….I have to disagree on one point. Cutler getting sacked like a rag doll wasn’t all his fault. He had possibly one of the worst offensive lines in NFL history in front of him. Quite honestly, he was lucky he wasn’t fucking killed. If you don’t like the guy, fine. But that shouldn’t be one of your reasons for doing so. Just saying.

  15. Cubs Suck Says:

Yes he was sacked allot and yes he had a weak offensive line but some of those are because he holds the ball too long, leaves the pocket early, and there is the forced fumbles for holding the ball too low when he scrambles, that is why I feel its a reason

  16. chucky Says:

I wonder how much of him holding onto the ball too long was due to play calling. Remember Martz and numbnuts Smith were dictators as far as play calling was concerned. If my memory is correct, Cutler absolutely forbidden to get creative if he got in trouble. Thank god those days are over! I think we need to give him at least a few more games to determine if he’s worthless or a good QB. I’m willing to give those games.

  17. Fro Dog Says:

    CS,

Chucky is right. Cutler was told to hold onto the ball. Martz and Smith hated audibles because they wanted to be “right”. That’s why in hurry up offenses, they still wanted to get the plays in rather than let Cutler call the plays himself. Just like Brian Griese in 2007, when the coaches look stupid by someone calling the plays themselves, they get pissed.

Cutler clearly hasn’t had an offensive line until this year. And this year, his sacks are down already from last year at this time I believe. So let’s just try to let things play out. By the way, I disagree with you on Cutler not being hurt in that title game. All because there is a torn or sprained knee doesn’t mean he can’t walk. He just can’t run around and be mobile. That’s why he couldn’t play. No one should question his toughness. If you saw what he did against the Steelers with that shoulder first dive, I think that’s enough evidence.

  18. Cubs Suck Says:

I admit I didnt watch Cutler when he was with the Broncos so spent some time watching old film, Allot of the same problems he has now he had then, mechanics being the most obvious. He had a very good offensive line in Denver and threw a shit ton of INTs with PLENTY of time in the pocket. I just dont see him getting any better, with Cutler it is what it is.

Correct me if I am wrong but allot of the Martz plays were the quick 3 step drops, quick slants, get rid of the ball quick plays, how was he told to hold on to the ball?

Regarding the injury, whatever the case it was a bad PR move be out walking around shopping right after the moment.

Its going to take allot more then a 6’3″ 235lb Cutler lowering a shoulder on a 5’10” 190lb(soaking wet)Robert Golden to prove any toughness, but Ill take what I can get.

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
