Embarrassing, shitty refs and all.

No worries Genre. I’ll leave it up for both of our opinions to be read.

I think it should stay up as a tribute to Bears futility and ineptitude.

that was a BAD game. heres how i think the bears should fix the team (feel free to criticize in the same manner i criticized your writing)

Trade Jay Cutler to Titans for a 1st round pick? This idiot that wrote that loses all credibility with that one. Just how do you trade someone who will be a free agent at the end of the year?
December 25, 2013 at 7:19 pm
In fact, some of those guys you said you wanted to trade are going to be free agents after this season. And half of your suggestions don’t make any sense at all.
Can I ask everyone here a question? Is Abdallah really Jerry Angelo? I have a FEELING that could be the case. No one in their right mind (well, maybe the meatballs) would suggest this stuff.

“1. Who must be cut: Stephan Paea, Chris Conte, Major Wright, Adam Podlesh, Earl Bennett, Julius Peppers (unless he agrees to reduce his salary to 7 mil, the cap hit regardless whether he is cut or not).”
If my sources are correct, Paea, Conte, Wright and Podlesh are all free agents at the end of the season.
“Who should be traded: Henry Melton & 5th round pick to Dallas for a first round pick & 4th round pick. Jay Cutler to Titans for a 1st round pick. Shea & 4th round pick for Houston 2nd round pick.”
Again. Check some sources to see who’s under contract. Melton had the franchise tag put on him this year. Him and Cutler are free agents. Unless Jerry Angelo is a general manager of a team, no one is going to take Shea McClellin. The Bears are stuck with him for two more seasons.
“(Draft) Taj Boyd”
Really? You want Taj Boyd to be the franchise quarterback of the Bears? I am so happy you aren’t running the Bears. Unless you want them to go back to being the Bears of the 90’s, these ideas are horrible. You know who also was awesome at Clemson? Charlie Whitehurst. And he has sucked in the NFL. Maybe Boyd can be a good quarterback but it’s doubtful.

Hey frodog sorry about the long wait time for the reply.
if i was jerry angelo i would shoot myself in the head. he is the second worst GM during that time, only outdone by matt millen.
about trading melton and cutler, we could franchise tag one, and transtion tag the other. that way we could force a trade.
paea conte and podlesh are still under contract. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/chicago-bears/yearly/
it doesn’t have to be boyd. if he’s going to end up like a doug flutie or tim tebow then no draft someone else. this is a rich qb draft, emery can draft whoever he wants.
shea is really a 3-4 linebacker. as a 4-3 DE he doesn’t have the power to shed blockers and get to the qb. ive seen alot of guys switch defense, and it deeply affected them

chucky its called the franchise tag. that would put cutler under our control for another year unless we then trade him.
