The Bears were embarrassed on Sunday Night against the Eagles. After what happened earlier in the day, you would think the Bears would have shown up and they failed to do so. The night started off with a horrible Adam Podlesh punt. Then, Devin Hester fumbles. In between and around that, was the defense completely sucking ass. I am not leaving the offense out of this either. Cutler was terrible in this game. It was a horrible game all around.
No need to waste time dwelling on this though. The Packers are up next with the division on the line.

Can we just tell the Packers they win and start working on next year?

I am getting real sick of this “burn the tape” bullshit. I hope it’s just talk. If you think there’s nothing to be learned from reviewing the tape when you get beat 54-11, you are guaranteed to keep on losing.

This was fucking embarrassing. On all fronts. There was not one person on the Bears sidelines who knew what the fuck they were doing. It was an epic meltdown in every area of the game, and maybe some other areas too. CS is right, and I’d like to be the first to congratulate the Green Bay FudgePackers on winning the NFC North……..WITH 8 GODDAMNED WINS!!!!!!!
My fucking head hurts.

I am waiting for April so Phil Emery can finally do his magic on the defense just like he did on the offense last year. I have complete faith that he will wave his magic wand in free agency and the draft.
By the way, some people in the media were saying that the return of Lance Briggs would help the Bears out. Yeah. They were actually worse with him in there.

I couldn’t believe the amount of idiotic tweets featured on Comcast’s post game show. Tons of people were like “Bad game, No Biggie-let’s kick the Packers ass next week!” — Complete detachment from reality. Sure the Bears could win, but they could get smacked too. It’s up for grabs at best. The idea that there is nothing to be concerned about is ridiculous. Idiots.
Still, I am not going to get too excited about this game. Even if the Bears win, they just win the right to host a much better wildcard team who will smack the Bears good.

Fro, Genre, Chucky, MadCity Mac, and all of the rest of you (and yes, even Yeti)…I wish you all a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year!!!
Well, enough of the pleasantries…now, on to business. I hope the Packers take care of the task at hand on Sunday afternoon and end the season for “da Bears”; translation: I hope the Packers kick the shit out of the Bears. My biggest fear is the the score will be something like 84-83 because both defenses are so porous. No matter what, it’s a game that will certainly have most of America tuning in for. Especially now that Tony Homo is now on the shelf; the Philly vs. Dallas game has lost most of its luster.
Later,
Jimmy D.
