    I see Robbie Gould was given a four-year extension today. Emery said during training camp that there wouldn’t be any extensions during the season. Today, he said that was the case until they figured out cap room for the next season.

    Thoughts?

    I like Robbie Gould and hes a good guy to have around, sure he missed a couple important fg’s this year but overall he is SOLID. Im surprised he signed the extension the way he is always bitching about the field conditions. That is kind of strange Emery reneging on what he said on extensions, I wonder why the urgency.

    One of the best kickers in league history. A good move on Emery’s part. Every time I hear about the field conditions at Soldier Field I’m amazed the Parks District isn’t held accountable.
