I don’t give a crap!!! Ricketts is too busy worrying about a new spring training facility and adding restaurants around the world’s largest urinal. And does anybody realize that Ricketts sounds stupid when he says something like this will bring in more revenue to put a winning team on the field? He must have not thought about before he bought the team that they were spending the same exact kind of money…D’oh!
Put a winning team on the field. Draft top prospects, sign free agents who aren’t asking for a billion dollars and make trades that actually make sense!

Actually, I’m wrong. Ricketts is no dummy, he knows that the sheeple are blind…as long as the Cubs make money, he wins.
Winning baseball is an afterthought. I’m still pissed that Cuban was turned down, he likely would have been a better option.

Chucky, fuckin’ A right! I’ve had it with this miserable fucking winter. I NEVER like winter but this one has just sucked beyond all belief. Scott, hope you got through that mess that hit Raleigh this week, but then again you grew up dealing with worse, like the rest of us. Fuck winter!

Mike, the people were having a grand ‘ole time here in the old North State. 3 inches of snow and the world comes to an end. That’s one thing that sucks about NC, people don’t have a clue how to drive in the stuff (PATHETIC), the NASCAR fantasies get out of hand quickly. Those photos were taken about 3 miles down the road from my home.
My mom tells me the Chicago winter has been BRUTAL. I’m planning a visit in the next 3 weeks or so; hope it thaws out a bit….

It’s been awful in Madison as well; I think colder than Chicago, but Chicago has had far more snow. After supposedly getting 4-5″ of the white shit here on Monday, it’s supposed to be in the mid to upper 30’s and possibly 40’s the latter part of the week. I don’t even want to leave the house; dragging my ass out of bed in the morning to go to work has been a daily struggle.
