I’m glad Eli Manning doesn’t play for the Bears.

Well, I agree that right now, you aren’t glad. But even with all of the bad, if you were to tell me that he would help win two Super Bowls, I could handle the bad for a while.

“I think it’s been disturbing that we haven’t been able to move the ball the way we would like to in games; that’s a fact,” Trestman said.
NO SHIT, Einstein! (sorry Albert)

I think it’s it’s disturbing that Marc Trestman is still head coach of the Chicago Bears.

Well, maybe if Trestman removed his head from his ass and called for Forte to run the ball more, maybe they would be able to “move the ball”. The last two games, they didn’t start running the ball with consistency until the second half. And even this past game, there were some plays where they should have ran but didn’t.
Also, these games suck even more when you’re at the game. The meatballs were in full force (shitty weather brings more of them out). After the game ends, we’re walking back to South Lot only to hear them shout “Green Bay sucks” in the tunnels. Right, a team that has beaten the crap out of the Bears over the last five years and won a Super Bowl in the process really sucks. Right.

By the way, anybody see the Bulls nearly piss away a 15-point lead to the hapless Jazz last night? I have exciting news about that game, too. Jimmy Butler played nearly 44 minutes and the team missed seven free throws for a percentage just below 70%. There’s some stats for you.
Oh, and Gasol came back from an injury to play 37 minutes.
The Bulls are 14 games into the season and already, have numerous injuries but the coach doesn’t give a damn if he runs the remaining players into the ground.
