Happy Thanksgiving from Madison!

I keep thinking how useless I’ll be for the next 4 days; watching at least 12 football games, and possibly Badgers-Minnesota in person.
A little something for your Thanksgiving entertainment…

It’s nice to see the defense play well for the first two or three drives and then, return to shit.

The Bears love getting penalties called for holding.
November 27, 2014 at 2:21 pm
Nice underthrow to Marshall, Dickface.
November 27, 2014 at 3:34 pm
Somebody just called The Score and said that the Bears should go get Johnny Manziel. This is how awful it has become.
November 27, 2014 at 5:36 pm
It was probably GARY
November 27, 2014 at 5:46 pm
Heh. Thanks for cheering me up. I am sure GARY is a nice guy. I would be afraid if he went to a game with us, you would continuously rip on him during the entire game.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
You all know that I’m a die-hard Packer fan (as is MadCityMac and a couple others who contribute to this site). I tried…so hard…to be a fan of the Bears today; hoping that they could add to the recent woes of the Detroit Lions. Shortly after the start of the 2nd half, I realized exactly why you are all exasperated with this worthless group of under-achieving, over paid bums. THAT, my friends, is a sad excuse for a football team. The fact that you are saddled with Cutler for however many more years is nothing short of a fairy tale surprise for the rest of the division.
I’m heading up to Lambeau Field for the game on Sunday. I really have no idea how it’s going to turn out, but I’m predicting that it will be a rout by one of the teams. I believe that one team will get the other out of their rhythm…while scoring a bunch of points themselves. The team that is knocked out of sync will just not be able to overcome the deficit and outscore the opponent. I’m not sure how Dom Capers plans to defend Rob Gronkowski, but I truly believe that the game will be won, or lost, based on if/how the Packers defense can neutralize him. That’s a tall order, but I believe that’s what will make the ultimate difference in this one.
Later,
Jimmy D.

Mac, I haven’t heard A R in years….thx for posting.
November 28, 2014 at 10:48 am
Glad to do it Scott; one of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions. True story- a good friend of mine here in Madison who is the music director at my favorite classic rock station, her sister was the first person ever, to play A R on the radio, and she actually knows Arlo personally!

Fro….did you call in to Doug and OB yesterday after the game? I could swear that I heard “FroDog” by Doug on the radio.
I love those guys. Talk about “FIRE AND PASSION!”.
November 28, 2014 at 2:21 pm
I did. I was on my way to the city to see some friends to watch the Seahawks/49ers at a bar near Belmont. They agreed with what I said. I felt like I needed to make up for the idiot that called before me about how the Bears should get Manziel.

Is Cade McNown available?

I can still throw the ball real far.

“FrogDog”, I got to hear you on the replay of the Doug and OB this morning.
Also heard a lot of disturbing things about how Trestman is running this team. Why so many off days? Why are players missing games to open restaurants (hello, Lance Briggs!) No wonder why this team is so soft and undisciplined.
The bad thing? Maybe Trestman does deserve to be fired after this year (along with the rest of the coaching staff), but whom do we get to replace him?
November 30, 2014 at 9:47 am
DVX….I don’t care who replaces them, as long as they ARE replaced.
November 30, 2014 at 12:55 pm
Aw I am jealous I did not get to hear the Frodog on the radio, but i did see him play Gangnam Style on a horn in a youtube video hahaha
November 30, 2014 at 5:47 pm
I may need a job…..just sayin’!
