I think Gase will be fine. It appears (I’ve said this in the past), that the Bears finally have some people who know what they are doing.
Also, I think we can all come to the conclusion that Tom Brady likes his balls just the way they are and doesn’t alter them. Great.

I didn’t listen to it. This is one “scandal” that I just don’t seem to care about. And frankly, I think it’s more on the league than the Patriots.

I agree w/ you chucky, it’s on the league. If the Colts (or was it the Ravens?) reported it to the league after a game in November, then why are we just hearing about this now?
Total bullshit. The Patriots beat the crap out of the Colt. Didn’t they go on a 28-0 run in the 2nd half? I heard somebody say the balls were checked before the 2nd half (???).

Also, does anybody honestly believe that this is the 1st time a game has been played with an under-inflated ball? Or that the Patriots are the only team that has used an under-inflated ball?
And if it’s such a big deal, why don’t players speak out if they touch/handle the ball during a game and it feels soft?

Forget the players genre. How about the refs that handle the ball after every single play??
That is where this is going to get interesting. When the refs have to explain why it took them an entire half of football and didn’t notice any difference when they are the ones spotting the ball.
I wonder if Goodell had any prior knowledge of the refs handling the football?
