Championship Sunday is upon us in the NFL. And yet, it’s another one without the Bears in it. Who do you have winning?
Also, for you WRASSLIN’ fans, it’s the Royal Rumble as well that night. The Road To Wrestlemania officially begins. It will be a busy Sunday night with that, football and the Blackhawks all going on at the same time.

Hey men!
I’m back again. The staples were removed from my back yesterday(31 total). Never had more fun in my life…….NOT!!!!!
Seriously, it was major surgery. I have an 8 inch scar starting from around the middle of my back all the way down to my ass. They basically filleted me. Back hopefully this is a start of me getting better. I hope so.
Football…..Arizona at Carolina, I’m hoping for the Panthers in this one. I’d like to see Chico and Greg Olsen both get the brass ring. Maybe stick it to those two assholes, Lovie fucking Smith, and Jerry fucking Angelo. Thanks for completely wrecking the Bears you two cocksuckers, along with Lovies mistress, the OLD BITCH!!!
New England at Denver…..I don’t care. I hate the Patriots, and I hate John Elway even more. Fuck em both.
Royal Rumble….I’m really getting sick of Triple H, COO and authority figure. IT ISN”T WORKING!!! Give it up. Bring back the cerebral assassin and let him kick ass. Enough with the bullshit of trying to derail Roman Reigns every fucking week. Now not only does he have to defend the title in the rumble match, but now he’s also the number one entrant? Fuck you, WWE creative, fuck you HHH, and a big FUCK YOU Stephanie McMahon. You’ve been nothing but a goddamned blight on my TV screen since you drug your fat, sorry ass back on Raw. Go back home, and try not to destroy the lives of your three daughters you rancid bitch. I can’t stand you.

Chucky hasn’t missed a step. He is back and ANGRIER than ever.
Why the hate for Elway? Was it him firing Fox and because of that, Fox ends up in Chicago? I will say that the Broncos are my second team because I was a huge Elway fan growing up. I don’t hate the Patriots for a variety of reasons but mainly, because them continuing to contend pisses off Roger Goodell. Anything that pisses that turd off makes me smile.
I would say the same for the Panthers. Although the meatball in me wants the Cardinals to win because they use to be the Chicago Cardinals before anything else. They were CHICAGO TOUGH before CHICAGO TOUGH was cool, MY FRENDT.
January 20, 2016 at 9:12 pm
I’ve never liked Elway, and that dates back to his playing days. Just something about his boyish face that made me want to punt it into the next county. Then, when he became Denver’s GM, he seemed to just steadily turn into a batshit crazy tyrant. Not a good thing.
I think the thing about the Patriots is just the number of cheating accusations leveled at them pisses me off. They’re a damn good team, so why do anything to draw suspicions about cheating? And I think the thing that pisses off Goodell is his own inability to deal with it.
I wouldn’t be upset if Arizona won it all, but like I said earlier, I’d like Chico and Olsen to win it all just to shove it up Smiths and Angelos asses. Those two motherfuckers, along with Lovies girlfriend, the OLD BITCH, have destroyed the Bears for at least the next five years, minimum, just through their sheer stubbornness, ignorance, and loyalty to the wrong fucking players.
Rex is our quarterback. Fuck you Lovie.

WWE has so many issues nowadays. They need to start making new stars.
January 21, 2016 at 11:23 am
I said the same thing to a friend of mine yesterday. They’ve been needing to do that for years. Instead of just letting some of these guys be themselves (like they did 20 years ago), they are forcing characters on them because of the “politically correct” world. I say fuck that shit and let them free.
And anybody see that Bulls game last night? PATHETIC.
January 21, 2016 at 1:44 pm
Not like on the ganja or anything but…
…how does anybody feel about signing Johnny Maziel or Robert Griffin III as a back up QB next season?
* One year contract, league minimum, un-guaranteed
* Short leash. Any partying BS from Johnny football or any nonsense from your old man (RGIII) and you’re gone
* Start as #3 with the opportunity to work your way to being the starter
* Work ethics/results, personal conduct reviewed on a week to week basis
Low risk, potential high reward.
Your thoughts?
January 21, 2016 at 4:46 pm
DVX……uhhh, no, and no.
Manziel has proven beyond all doubt that his first priority is getting loaded. Fuck him. He’s not even worth the league minimum.
Griffin has been destroyed. He will ever be what he was in the past. Ad I’ll tell you the truth, I really don’t know what the answer is at this point. Draft? Free agent? Stick with Fales? I just don’t know. I wish I did.
January 21, 2016 at 4:56 pm
Good points, Chucky.
Let me throw this in here: Look at the environments they came from. Cleveland and Washington are constantly unstable messes. Ever since the Browns came back to the NFL, they have burned through coaching staffs and busted draft picks. Once again, they’ve had to blow up the coaching staff and GM, and now they’re without a starting QB. The Redskins are run by a meddling owner who has to be the most reprehensible being to own an NFL team.
Put Johnny Football or RG3 in a stable, productive environment, tell them that playtime is OVER, make them work with the new OC…who knows?
January 21, 2016 at 5:30 pm
I don’t see Griffin or Manziel panning out for different reasons. Griffin had a shitty injury and it became worse when Shanahan left him in that playoff game when he should have been out. After that, he was ruined. Compare it to Derrick Rose. Both had awful injuries when they shouldn’t have been in the game. And I thought he would be better than Luck.
Manziel should never be brought up on this site. Fuck that guy. Forget the environment of Cleveland. I can understand why you might say that but this guy is the exception. If he wanted to change the culture of that team, he would work very hard to be a great quarterback and to help build a team around him. Unless it’s Jerry Jones signing him, he won’t play football again. He’s too much of a dumbass. He is the second coming of Ryan Leaf.
January 21, 2016 at 9:24 pm
Or Cade McNown.
January 22, 2016 at 10:05 am
Da Bulls: Right now, they’re good enough for a playoff spot, but not consistent enough to trust to win a best-of-seven series. Beating the Cavs will probably require all seven games, including a few OT periods and maybe a couple of game-winning buzzer beating threes.
IF this team makes the NBA Finals, they will probably turn into four of the worst losses in Bulls franchise history as they are swept by the Warriors or Spurs.
Joakim Noah is gone…for the year and, pending free agency, probably for good. D-Rose is an on again/off again health risk…and there is that pending sexual assault civil suit in the back of his and everybody’s minds.
Question: Blow the team up now and take our chances through free agency and the two-round NBA draft, or blow it up after the playoffs and hope whatever trade assets make themselves more attractable to any suckers…I mean takers?
January 22, 2016 at 11:11 am
They need to try to trade whoever they can at the deadline because they aren’t coming back. I love Gasol and he’s been the most consistent player on the team this season, but he’s not re-signing with this PATHETIC franchise. He wants another ring. Had the Bulls been smart and tell Noah to sit his ass on the bench instead of playing, he could have been traded and eventually, injured on another team.
I wanted the Bulls to package Noah, Gibson, Snell and some draft picks to the Kings for DeMarcus Cousins. I know some may think that’s an asinine proposal, but the Kings won’t get anything for him once his contract his up, so it could have been possible if they tried. Maybe if they wanted another pick, I would have done it too. Getting Cousins would make them instant contenders and would be better defensively.
January 22, 2016 at 12:56 pm
That’s not a bad proposal…Noah, Gibson and Snell would put up some back bone to a Kings team that always plays like a mess. Cousins would be re-energized at playing on an actual playoff contender (albeit in the weak East). Giving up the draft picks would mean the Bulls spending the next 2-4 years trying to iild the roster through free-agency, at best taking whatever scraps are off the FA market (i.e guys that no sane GM would offer a contract to).
I wish I could discuss WWE but my sister (Roman Reigns fan) would be more fluent and more current than I am.

Don’t worry about the WRASSLIN’ talk DVX. It’s been a clusterfuck for the last few years. Every now and then, they’ll book a great show but then the next week, return to a steaming pile of shit. I cannot stand these three-hour Raws and it’s damn near going on four years. They need to go back to two hours.
I still plan on going to Wrestlemania this year in Dallas, as well. I am always excited for Wrestlemania but because of their inability to build new stars, it may not be a good one.
January 22, 2016 at 4:41 pm
Also, let’s send out our best for our friends DVX and Genrebuster who are both on the East Coast. I am praying you guys are safe from those impending snow/ice storms. Both of you need to move back to Illinois! And if your wives complain, tough shit.
January 22, 2016 at 6:35 pm
What wife?
I’m sitting on my ass in my apartment in Lexington Park. The car is officially parked for the weekend (but thank you anyway for the shout out!).
January 22, 2016 at 8:58 pm
Don’t forget to pray for us Tennesseans where everyone other than me refers to 3″ of snow as “Snowpocalypse.” and starts raiding the grocery shelves. Having spent 12 years as a Yooper, I can only roll my eyes when I see the panic over snow.
January 23, 2016 at 12:48 am
DVX,
My bad. I thought you were insane like most of the folks here by getting married in your life. Honest mistake, my friend. Oh, and the Bulls took another shit tonight against the Celtics. I have officially stopped giving a fuck about this season. The Bulls are a fucking embarrassment. Zero defense, zero desire and there is nothing Hoiberg can do. This goes on Forman and Paxson.
Pie,
My bad as well. When I saw the storm, I just kept thinking East Coast. Do any others consider Tennessee part of the Union? Just kidding. One of my former employees moved to Chattanooga last year to take a job at a hospital. She said the entire area shut down the other day with the ice storm and will do again today and tomorrow.
It’s funny to see how some react down there. Three inches is nothing but down there, everyone panics as you said.
January 23, 2016 at 6:22 pm
Apparently this panic does not involve driving. I was on HWY-235 trying to get back to work. The Naval base here started a “staggered shutdown” and 235 was just wall-to-wall, bumper to bumper traffic. Here’s a tip, southern MD: if you need to get your ass home, then use the damn gas pedal like God intended you to use it! Don’y crawl along the highway at five miles under the limit, MOVE YOUR ASS!!!
January 24, 2016 at 11:16 am
You would think the folks over there in your area would know how to drive since they get similar, if not worse weather than here in Chicagoland. Hell no.
I remember in 2008, there was a blizzard coming in the evening and I was in Mount Prospect off of US 14 (Northwest Highway) when The Score was doing an all day show at a pub. I left around 6:00 when it started coming down. For those who know about the Northwest suburbs, it fucking sucks for traffic but also, it’s a real bitch if you’re trying to go either East or West. That’s because some of the exits to interstates are only one way and you may have to drive two or three miles just to get a Westbound exit on 90 back towards Rockford.
Instead of a 45 minute drive back, I didn’t get back until 9:00 or so. People just turn into morons and forget how to drive when snow falls. Taking 90 on any day into or out of the city is a pain in the ass because of all of the construction (which has been going on for years) and when the weather is bad, it’s even worse. I avoid 90 at all costs, especially near the Cumberland exit.
