I have watched that last inning about 20 times and still don’t believe it actually happened.
I read that there are rule changes in baseball ready to be made by the Commissioner Rob Manfred. I don’t understand why Commissioners in every sport are all alike. All of these guys are fucking idiots. They can’t leave the damn game alone. I am all for putting in instant replay, but actually fucking with the game as all of these “commissioners” have done makes me lose interest. Speeding up baseball with clocks, putting runners on base in extra innings and skipping the actual process of an intentional walk is stupid.

Fuck Adam Silver with a Tomahawk cruise missile. He was touted as some progressive visionary, but in truth what the fuck has he done since David Stern went fishing? He kicked out Donald Sterling for a racist comment made on tape and blasted around the world by TMZ. Sterling paid a few billion for some bad basketball players, most of them black…but he’s a racist? and then he’s an advocate for drag queens wanting to use the women’s bathroom? Dafuck?
Meanwhile, three of the four franchises in New York and Los Angeles (i.e. the two biggest media outlets in the world) are among the six worst on the planet. Way too much bullshit deals at the trade deadline. Too many idiots in the owners’ boxes and GM offices. The talent coming out of college is not as ready as we’re led to believe…which helps explain why the draft is only two rounds (Dafuck? MLS has FOUR rounds?!?). On a given night, half of the scheduled games are decided by more than 15 points.
The game is broke as fuck at the NBA and college levels, but it’s okay because Adam Silver is WOKE.

I know I asked this before from you and once again, get the point you’re trying to get across. But please, once again, keep the politics out of this site. This is one of the few websites out there I can go to and not have to read anything political. Let’s stick to strictly sports.
And speaking of that, the Bulls are making trades that make no sense at all. This team will continue to be a tire fire for a minimum of the next five years. They have made the lead 20 in this game against the Cavaliers and its down to 14 now with just over eight minutes to go. Let’s see if a blind squirrel finds a nut and the Bulls hold onto it.

Well, the Bulls had that 20-point lead cut in half with about six minutes to go in the game, but pulled it out. That’s four wins in a row.

The Cavs should be ashamed of themselves for tanking in front of their home crowd and a national TV audience. ABC/Disney should be embarrassed, after hyping the hell out of this game for the last two weeks.
Can the Bulls do this four times out of seven? THIS bunch? Yeah…no.
The game is seriously hurting right now…way too many of the NBA stars taking “nights off” (either DNP-CDs or mailing it in), and too many of those nights just happen to be marquee match-ups, which the TV networks waste advertising money on.

For the Bulls to have any playoff life from now until their season ends:
1) Rajon Rondo needs to rediscover being a POINT GUARD…ON and OFF THE COURT.
2) Dwayne Wade needs Jerry Reinsdorf to either a) pay for a special procedure to lace D-Wade’s bones and ligaments with adamantium or b) discover the Fountain of Youth and buy it exclusively for D-Wade’s personal use
3) This Afterschool Special moment between Jimmy Butler (J-Butt) and Fred Hoisberg:
FH: “Jimmy…take a look at the court…look at those four dudes out there. They’re dressed JUST LIKE YOU ARE…”
J-Butt: “So?”
FH: “They’re your TEAMMATES, Jimmy…they’re HERE TO HELP YOU win.”
J-Butt: “You mean…I DON’T have to do this alone?”
FH: “That’s right Jimmy.”

Hey, you guys think you got problems, we Laker fans are looking at five to ten years of futility in our future. This bunch they got on the court these days think defense is a board game by Mattel! I saw more defense in the All-Star game than what the Lakers bring in “competitive” basketball. DVX is right, the game is broke beyond all recognition. No one in college or high school is taught the game anymore. It’s all free-slinging, hop-stepping, rim-rattlin’, no-D, whoop-de-loop playground slop! I’m done.

Without a doubt, both of our teams were once, proud franchises with amazing players. You and I had this type of conversation sometime last year. The quality (and egos) of today’s NBA players are just awful. Even when I was a kid 20-25 years ago, there were so many stars on teams that had a chance to contend. Yes, there were the Jordan Bulls who stomped over everyone’s chances. But take a look at the amount of teams in the Western Conference in the 90’s that had the opportunity to just go to the Finals.
Lakers, Trail Blazers, Suns, Rockets, Sonics and Nuggets were all VERY good. Any one of those teams had a legitimate chance every year. Now what? Only two teams gave been in the Finals the last two years and it appears that the same teams will be in it again this year.
If Adam Silver had any type of common sense and if he really cared about how the game is played, he would make the draft eligible for players who have been in college a MINIMUM of three years. I believe the NFL has a two-year requirement. Right now, it’s only one and done.
And some people might forget, the one-year rule was put in place because of the plethora of shitty players coming out of high school in the early 2000’s (Kwame Brown, anyone?).
I could go for another few paragraphs about how shitty the NBA is these days, but I will say one more thing: This has David Stern’s handprints all over it. He was the catalyst to let this happen. And it was all for money.
