Annoyed: Eagles 31 Bears 3

by

Trust me, it wasn’t even this close. I won’t give the defense too much crap since the offense couldn’t get going all game. But, this was very bad.

Cairo Santos: He’s not Connor Barth. And even though he missed that first field goal, he made the next one. That’s one more than Barth would have had. So, there’s a positive.

Fans of Philadelphia teams: Never been to this city nor do I want to go. Their fans suck. They actually have a jail with a judge in the bottom of the stadium for fans who are “unruly”. Trust me, I hate dealing with fans of my own teams as they are dumb as shit. But at least I am not from Philadelphia. It was sweet seeing the Blackhawks beat the Flyers in their house in 2010 for the Stanley Cup. Their fans deserve losers and may their precious Eagles lose in the playoffs or better yet, the Super Bowl.

Next up: Nobody really cares, but the 49ers are in town. If the Bears lose this game, Fox is done on January 1st.

Sometime during the third quarter, the Bears offense had about 25 plays total. Carson Went threw 30 passes BY HIMSELF.

If the bears lose at home to the 49ers, Fox should be fired Arkansas-style (U of A fired Bret Bielama as he was leaving the field right after the game). Probably should announce it over the Soldier Field PA system before the Bears front office even sends somebody to give him the bad news.

In that case, I’m pulling for a Bears loss on Sunday.

The bears should start their coaching search now. But who could they get that’s worth a shit?

I was listening to The Score after the game and it was a bit depressing hearing some of the callers (as it usually is).

One guy has been a season ticket holder for the better part of the last four decades called in. He mentioned how much total cash he’s spent on those tickets over the years. Then, you know it really hits. The Bears have these ticket holders by the balls. Since the fans actually own the seats, I don’t believe they can just give them back to the team. They have to actually find a buyer for them because of agreements they signed when purchasing them. That has to suck ass.

The same caller also made the point that he has interacted with George McCaskey on a number of occasions. I think it’s clear George wants to win. Nobody is doubting that. However, the caller made a very good point:

“He wants to win, but doesn’t know how to. He doesn’t know who to hire.” – That’s mostly paraphrase, but on par with what he said in his call. I agree.

I do agree that he wants to win. The thing is he keeps on doing the same shit. He needs to try something completely different. Whatever he’s been doing do the opposite. Quit cheaping out on coaches and staff. Get quality guys to scout and train players. As far as the season tickets go idk how anyone can afford to waste that money on bears tickets every year. It’s not like they ever put quality on the field. In my lifetime they’ve made the playoffs 5 times or less and been to the Superbowl once. They have been living off of 85 for years and it’s getting old. Time to move out of the stone ages and get someone who can coordinate a passing attack.

    Dropped passes.
    Broken plays.
    Stupid penalties.
    Gruesome injuries.
    Missed field goals.
    Poor refereeing.
