It’s not just Darvish, Genre, it’s Quintana too. The starting pitching looks weak, real weak. The bullpen isn’t much better. They have lots of time to straighten it out, but Darvish looks lost right now. And where is this “great” new pitching coach we just hired? Isn’t he supposed to be the “pitcher whisperer”? He needs to take a two by four to Darvish’s head!

Darvish hasn’t been good for awhile now. He didn’t play well for Los Angeles and completely imploded during the postseason. I’m not sure why they didn’t just bring back Arrieta honestly? I don’t love the guy with his control issues but he’s familiar here and is a stud when those are corrected.

Well that’s promising. 4 game winning streak, and a string of quality starts from our staff. Looks like we own the Brewers this year too. Lets see if we can keep it up.

…what Dave posted. Definitely a better start than last year.

Darvish just gave up 4 big ones within the first 3 innings today against the Rockies. Cubs need another starting pitcher. This guy is toast.

Cubs lead 4-0 to Cardinals. Cardinals tie it 4-4. Cubs take lead heading into the ninth 6-4, Morrow blows the save. Cardinals win it with walk off HR in tenth 8-6. Yeah, sure, I see this Cub team going all the way. Ha! Ha! Ha!
