Matt Nagy: “I’m not an idiot.”
(Tells Ryan Pace to trade Jordan Howard because he “doesn’t fit his system.”)
(*Watches Jordan Howard run down their throats in the same exact “system.”)
What else did we learn?
This team is undisciplined and commits penalties that cost them games. This team is coached by a bunch of hacks.
If anybody wants to check the archives at this site, feel free. I hate being right. But everything that is happening this season is something I (as well as others) predicted. No logical fan should be surprised by this. Matt Nagy is a fraud and even though it was shown last year, it’s being more exposed now. We can blame Trubisky until we’re blue in the face and rightfully so. But when the fraud puts him in a position to fail, it doesn’t help things.
The Bears aren’t coming back to win this game and they aren’t going to win very many the last half of the season. Seriously. When I am writing recaps before the games even end, you know it’s bad.
So, what is Curious George going to do? Is he going to smarten up and fire both Pace and Nagy? Or is he just going to do nothing until the end of the season when he tells the media that his mom is “pissed” and that they vow to be better next year?
I’m fucking exhausted. This team has made me tired. They are killing my desire to enjoy anything about this game.
One last thing: Fuck Dick Stockton. He’s The Original Kiss of Death To Chicago Sports. It’s only appropriate that he has now called two of the losses this year. Very rarely does he call a game that involves a Chicago team winning.

Yeah, this game has some serious shades of ugly all through it. Nagy has that look on his face where he thinks his team will win, but then realizes he’s dug a hole so deep that they can’t come out of it.
At least the post game show should be good.
#fuckthebears!!!!!!

I am sick of being a bears fan. Same story every year.good defense, horrible offense defense does not win games unless offense puts up points. Sunday used to be my favorite day of the week. why would anyone give up Jordan Howard. Guy is a beast. Chicago had a winning season. Why would you ever trade anything when your the division champs and screwed out of the Superbowl by a bad call. Chicago had a great team, should have went to Superbowl and while everyone crying over saints bad call that cost them the game Chicago is being Chicago and trading away a winning cohesive team and loosing season opener to Green Bay at home while defense stuffs team for a negative 17 yards. The NFL is just like wrestling. Fake and full of drama. I quit

When the post game show is more entertaining than the actual NFL game…time to throw in the towel on 2019.

I noticed Pace’s squandered second round Shaheen pick was the one who bungled the final kick off. How come nobody noticed how bad Pace was until now? His draft picks are all colossal busts. The team has done even worse under his reign that in the Emory Tresticle years?

From a Packer fan: LaFleur just got exposed in a huge way this afternoon in Carson by the Chargers. What a pathetic performance from a team that was supposed to be a Super Bowl contender! I had a feeling it was too good to be true. LaFleur had no answer to the Charger defense, and no in game adjustments. He was a deer in the headlights. Doesn’t look good for my Packers the rest of the way.

2:1 odds says that Curious George waits until after next season to fire them. Maybe he doesn’t want to pay more severance checks for fired coaches (Trestman, Fox)

Quick observation:
Methinks Curious George is trying too hard to make the Bears like George Halas’ teams: power running game, the occasional forward pass, Monsters of the Midway defense.
Unfortunately, his GMs and coaches keep building meat turnstiles for offensive lines, that can’t open up holes to establish the run game or protect the QB in the pocket. We get QBs like Trubisky because George, Teddy-Boy, and their respective GMs have been left behind by the modern game. As for the defenses…well, if they’re gassed by the 4th quarter because they’ve been on the field for FORTY FUCKING MINUTES, it’s kind of hard for them to be monsters of any kind.
