Topics to discuss:

  • The Bears will probably be quiet during free agency since there doesn’t seem to be any cap space available (thanks Ryan Pace).
  • The Blackhawks seem to have a team that’s shocking many (myself included and I’m not complaining).
  • The Bulls have also seemed to be competitive. It’s amazing what happens when an actual head coach is there. Too bad some players on the team suck.

    1. Chicago Bears will suck more this year!
    2. I strip my Fandom with this team, they are not worth for me. MEDIOCRITY is a Norm!
    3. Let me know if you guys want my Bears jerseys and stuff, I’ll send it over!

Jackk is right about the Bears. There’s no sense in even talking about them until they unload Nagy and Pace. Even if they get Russell Wilson.

The Bulls have looked a hell of a lot better, but are still a few players away yet. Thank you Billy Donovan. It’s nice seeing an actual coach on the sidelines, and not Dr. Evil.

The Blackhawks…..meh. I wish I liked hockey more. I just can’t seem to get into it.

The Cubs……I get the feeling they’re going to really piss my off this year. I’m still not a fan of David Ross, the manager. Last years playoff appearance reminded me of the playoff runs under drunken Uncle Lou. They completely forgot how to hit. This team hasn’t hit well since the stooooooooopid Chili Davis hiring. This is a damaged and flawed team, and I fear that Ross is going highlight those flaws.

    The Sox….who gives a fuck?

I’m just hoping I can get the hell out of here this June and hit Road America again. It’s been two years, and I’m having serious withdrawal.

For all the handful of free-agent QBs out there, DaBears are in contention…for NONE of them. Which means unless Ryan Pace can work some sorcery in FA or the draft (cue the LOL track) or Nagy gets possesses by the Ghost of Papa Bear Halas (or even Vince Lombardi, I’m not that picky at this point), 6-10 seems to be the ceiling for this team.

The Bulls have looked and played better, but then again the NBA has been plagued with rosters shortened by COVID-19. Little victories, here, y’all.

Black Hawks…talk to me in a month.

  4. genrebuster Says:

    Russell Wilson, baybeeeeeeee!!!

    https://bearswire.usatoday.com/2021/02/26/chicago-bears-hypothetical-trade-russell-wilson/

    Yeah….right….sure.

Time to watch some paint peel from the walls…tick tock.

  5. Pie in the Sky Says:

So a 30-year-old pass rusher, young CB, a meh ’21 first and potentially meh ’22 first for Pro Bowl QB? 100% unrealistic.

  6. chucky Says:

Goddamn, I just want to fucking puke.

A ray of sunshine? NOT IN MY FUCKING WORLD! HE’S A MOTHERFUCKING MENTAL FURBALL!!!!!!!!!! And if he’s Javier Baez’s friend, then Baez has some serious judgment issues. Get ready for Kevin FUCKING Gregg V.4.

    Oy.

  7. genrebuster Says:

Does anybody else feel that trading for Jameis Winston would be a BIG mistake?

If that were to happen, I’m done giving a crap about the Bears until there’s a new regime (owner/coaches) AND a different QB in place.

Also, Nick Foles is NOT the answer. I’m fine with Trubisky leaving – he deserves better – but I prefer him over Foles or Winston.

  8. Fro Dog Says:

The Bears don’t get any respect to begin with. If they trade for that piece of shit excuse for a human being, it’s going to be very difficult to give a shit.

I have an idea and people think I may be crazy for this. But how about the Bears actually draft a quarterback that can be here for the next decade? One that can give them a chance to contend every year.

I know. It’s like asking for Moses to part the Red Sea for a second time. But come on.

  9. genrebuster Says:

Exactly right, Fro. On all counts.

  10. chucky Says:

Fro….not with this regime. I do not trust them to make the right choice. Plus, with Nagy as the head moron guiding this train wreck, any quarterback coming here, I don’t care who it is, is doomed to failure. It’s as simple as that. Nick Foles is a decent enough QB to win you a few games. Hell, he WON a Super bowl. What does say about the Bears that when he comes here, he can’t find his ass with both hands and a road map? Bottom line: This team is doomed until the coaching situation is resolved. And there’s no sense in even thinking about a new QB until then.

  11. chucky Says:

Andy Dalton, one year, ten million.

Say goodbye to Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy……….FINALLY. This should just about seal their fate. These douchebuckets just can’t do a goddamned thing right.

  12. Jack Says:

    FUCK CHICAGO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. jerbates Says:

@chyucky I completely agree. I will gladly take one bottom-of-the-league and the opportunity to FINALLY be rid of Pace and Nagy in lieu of Pace bringing in someone like Russell Wilson or DeShaun Watson only to stymie their abilities under Nagy and have 5 more years of mediocrity under this leadership duo.
Dalton for one season followed by a high draft pick and a new coach/GM combo? Yes, please!

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
