Will it be by drafting a bust with their original pick?
Will it be by trading away the next few first-round picks just to move up two spots to get a bust?
Or, will Ryan Pace draft someone in the first round from a Division III school that he feels will be a diamond in the rough? (Spoiler: If this happens, the pick ends up being a bust.)
So many concerns. Little-to-no resolutions. Entertain me in the comment section.

How will he screw it up? Every. Possible. Way. Hell, I think he stays up at night thinking of new ways to fuck up the draft. I mean, seriously, how does somebody fuck up to the extent that Pace does? That takes talent! The only good thing to come from this draft is the fact that it’s going to be Paces and Nagys last. The worst is that it could set the Bears back five to ten years of rebuilding. Thanks George, you fucking douche bucket.

Hey Chucky, don’t count on this being the last Draft Pace is in charge of because that Idiot George will bring him back again!!! Why would anyone in their right mind put up with the inept Pace and Nagy, especially after the Trubisky debacle and all the other draft screw ups not to mention his horrible free agent signings!!!

I forgot Mike Glennon the 39 million dollar free agent, one of the worst signings EVER!!

Skipping NFL Draft Weekend for the fiftieth year in a row. Even if I had any confidence in Ryan Pace, there are no guarantees. I burn too much of my lief in front of a screen anyways. might as well try and get out this weekend.

Chuckster!
Are you around for tonight? I need therapy during the draft.
I am going to mow the lawn soon as well. But I’ll be ready to listen on my phone or watch when I finish up. It should be a lovely disaster.

Bears move up to select a quarterback, Justin Fields of Ohio State. Will this be another Trubiski, or a Winston Jameis? Maybe more like Steve McNair.

I think maybe Rayan Pace finally drafted a Good QB prospect if not the Bears are really F-cked!!
April 29, 2021 at 10:28 pm
Sorry Fro. I took a pass on the draft. Doesn’t matter. Justin Fields is just another QB for Nagy to destroy. Fields really has no clue how close to the wood chipper he is.

“We talk about, you can draft the players but you have to develop them the right way,” Pace said.
From “the expert”. Yeah. Right. Sure.

Genrebuster hit the nail on the head. It’s not like Nagy and Co. have done that much with whatever Pace has drafted.

Remember the old commercial about how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? How many picks does Pace need to get 2 good players? How many did he trade away to get 2 guys?
And another running back..I guess that back in the day when he said “I take a quarterback in every draft”, he meant running back.
He has traded away over 2 years worth of draft picks since he arrived in Chi-town by my count. That is how you build a suck storm of a team.
May 2, 2021 at 12:31 pm
Yep. He’s probably traded away ten picks in the last several years. And three first-rounders as well (next year’s included).
It’s really difficult to watch. He’s set this franchise back even more after this draft.

Blame this all on George McCaskey , he’s the one who Keeps hiring incompetent GMs starting with Mike McCaskey , Jerry Angelo , Phil Emory, and last but not least Ryan Pace!! Ted Phillips has a hand in this cluster fuck and he and George are the only ones that haven’t been replaced, they are the culprits and need to be FIRED but that won’t happen so what you keep seeing is what you’ll continue to see!!!

Fuck Mccaskey and company. And fuck the Cubs, too (oops, wrong thread)!

Before anyone gets too excited about the Bears trading up to draft Justin Fields remember this; Ryan Pace traded up to draft Mitch Trubisky.
The team wouldn’t have needed to trade up to 11 if they had the sense to tank and had lost just two more games. But they chose to go all in on their celebration of mediocrity rather than admit they are a bad team in need of high draft picks and a rebuild on offense with key, urgent replenishment on defense. And don’t forget, the team wouldn’t have even needed to draft a first round QB if Ryan Pace hadn’t traded up to draft Mitch Trubisky in the first place.
I’ve said it before and I will say it again, the thing we need to fear most as Bears fans is that by landing a new and tantalizing QB in the ’21 draft, ownership will put on blinders, ignore the gross incompetence of Pace in the past, and give contract extensions to this franchise-decimating criminal and his gutless coach. Then instead of committing fully to a rebuild, the mediocrity on the midway will continue for several more years.

Jerbates, you are 100% correct and I was caught up with the QB pick but Ryan Pace has screwed up the Bears so much they can’t be fixed!!
