Nobody here cares about soccer, but here goes: 2019 was the last year you could watch the UEFA Champions league from group stage through the Final…on cable. Now you have to pay $60 a year to Paramount+…which also serves up a dixie cup of shit that I don’t want to watch.

About ten years ago, Deadpan was, IMHO, the best sports site on the internet. No bullshit, no spin articles on WTF is going on in sports. Now they’re woke as shit and barely worth reading.
I used to like reading Sports Illustrated’s SI.com website. Now their writers are woke and you have to register/subscribe just to look at Monday Morning Quarterback.
Every sports site wants you to disable their ad blocker, no matter how much the ads, and the videos, and all the other junk on their site slows your computer down something fierce.

Hey guys, this is off topic, but it’s really important. You may have already heard about it, but Steve “Mongo” McMichael has been diagnosed with ALS. This really fucking sucks. I am an out and out mark for Mongo, from the 85 Bears championship team that I watched in a mostly drunken stupor, and loved every second of it, to being a member of the Four Horsemen in WCW, and even winning the U.S. title. I’m really at a loss for words. I mean really, this goddamn sucks. There’s a GoFundMe page out there, I don’t know the name. I’m going to try and find it and help him. I don’t pray, but I’ll try to keep some positive thoughts for him. I kind of wish we could do a little tribute to Ming(he was called that too). He certainly deserves that much.

Really sad to hear about McMichael , my Brother-In-Law had ALS it’s an insidious disease that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, he’ll be in my prayers.

Well, looks like the Cubs are fucking dead. 10-0, 7th inning one night after being shutout. Hendricks sucks, hell, the whole goddamned pitching staff fucking sucks. They can’t hit, they can’t pitch. this shitstain of a team will lose 95 games this year. And tomorrow night Ryan FUCKING Pace starts the final draft of his miserable career. My head hurts.
