I don’t know, but I think there is still something to my conspiracy theory that the McCaskeys are somehow more involved in the on-field coaching of the Bears then they should be. It’s the only reason I can see that the Bears haven’t changed all that much since the Ditka era. The coaching has sucked goat shaft for 30 goddamn years now. The press conferences have all sounded the same, and there is just no discipline on the field, and there is no accountability for all the mistakes. I don’t know about the rest of you, but this doesn’t pass my smell test. At all.

This team is coached by a bunch of fucking idiots. Sure, you can say that about any of the brass that’s been here over the years. But this year, you’re really seeing the stupidity.
It’s not that difficult to have a run play up the middle on 3rd and 1 instead of dropping Fields back 15 steps only to get sacked.

That’s really strange Fro, because they mentioned on today’s post-game that Poles’ draft picks were at least halfway decent while his free agents have sucked. This practice of focusing on the positives has got to stop. They’re 3-11 and riding a 7-game losing streak. This team sucks. This coaching staff sucks. Ownership sucks. I think it’s time for the so-called journalists and pundits to start looking at what the fuck is wrong here. All the good things that have happened don’t need to be fixed. I understand looking at the negative is far more of a daunting task than looking at the positives, but if you don’t look at it, it doesn’t get fixed. Simple as that.

Well, congratulations to Justin Fields for breaking 1,000 yards rushing. Welcome to the exclusive club. But I’ve forgotten what winning feels like. Well, at least we can enjoy it come draft time. Not to play devil’s advocate regarding Ryan Poles but it should be noted that he did actually do pretty decently with UFAs, those being Jack Sanborn and Jaylon Jones. When I first heard their names I thought that Sanborn was some free agent the Bears had signed and that Jones was some draft pick, but they were both guys that slipped through the draft and which Poles snagged. Sanborn in particular is playing at least like a second/third round pick, so good on Poles for the steal! Well . . . at least as things appear for now.
