It’s been a long winter in Chicago. The Bears were awful. The Bulls are trash. The Blackhawks are tanking (yay?) and my Fighting Illini basketball team has been underwhelming. So of course, I Google “depressing Chicago sports” and this is one of the pictures that came up. This describes me to a tee.
Us fans are too damn loyal. We all still watch and some of us still go to games despite the horseshit that is witnessed.

Fro, I read your post in the last thread about the 4/24 Raw. How many tickets did you get? If you have an extra, I’ll buy it from you, as long as it’s not 2000 dollars. I think the last one I went to was around 1987. I’m banking on the wrestling being better than what Brutus Beefcake ever did.

As of now, I only have the one for myself. That could change. Tickets may be available right next to me. I will say it will run you between $300 and $400. It’s first row seats. Let me know and I will see what I can do.

Woof! That much? I’m sorry buddy, I can’t do that much. My medical bills are all coming due. I didn’t realize that they cost that much. I guess I’m still living in 1985 when tickets cost $25. I apologize, I can’t swing that much right now. If you can, maybe bring a “Larry Horse wants ice cream” sign and I’ll try taping it for you.
