I had feared this day. Every run by Caleb made me nervous to my core since he’s been here. It all happened in front of my eyes. I am typing this out in my car as I am soaked from the rain. The poncho wasn’t much help.
Penalties. Turnovers. Blocked field goals. An injury to the best player. A shot at hope at the end. And it all fizzles.
This is why we can’t have nice things.
I went to see Notre Dame play last night. I had a great time. I ended up staying overnight about a half hour from the city so I didn’t have to drive all the way home. Despite the weather last night and today, I was happy. Then the game today started.
The stupidity of Ben Johnson can be blamed. Blame the offensive line for all of the penalties. You can also blame D’Andre Swift for fucking up. Go ahead and blame the no-named long snapper as well in this weather that lead to a blocked field goal.
I seem to witness disasters. I saw Jay Cutler break his thumb 15 years ago against the Chargers. The Bears promptly lost five straight and not make the playoffs. The next year, I saw Urlacher’s last game as he pulled his hamstring against the Seahawks chasing Russell Wilson. Now, this.
Is it the Madden Curse? Or is it the bad energy the McCaskey’s and that dipshit Kevin Warren release into the air from their collective ass cracks?

I have one more request in addition to my rants in the opening thread; Never, ever again do I want to hear about “Bear weather”. FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!! Anybody who wants to think that Bear weather is a thing can stick it straight up their motherfucking ass!!!!!!!!
I have another complaint to make too. Fucking WGN covering the fucking White Sox needs to end this year. I know it won’t, but goddamnit to hell, they’re in a fucking rain delay. Hamp and OB were scheduled to start at around 4:30, after the Sox game post show. Well, with the rain delay they decided to throw us Bears fans a curveball and start the Bears post show, which means most of us probably missed the beginning of the show. Something needs to give here. If radio stations want to carry sports games, fine. but don’t have post game shows if your game coverage interferes with other programming. At the very least, stream the post game show so that people who are fans of that post show can hear them on time. I’m not a Sox fan, never have been, never will be. But I am a Bears fan, and goddamnit, I want to hear Hampton and O’Bradovich! I am really sick of that shit.

Why is Montez Sweet still on the Bears he makes 25 million a year and he does nothing , he’s just another bad signing by Poles , yes please fire that fool Poles ASAP but we all know the McCaskeys will never do that !!
