1. Chicago Bulls tied for the 8th playoff spot in the East
2. Blackhawks on a short losing skid but should get out of it real soon
3. NCAA conference tournaments beginning real soon.
– Last but not least, Keith (ksmc2000) has agreed to help out and take over the writing on this site starting soon at least once or twice a week. I am just waiting for a response from him.
I will still be here talking Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls and college basketball every now and then.
So once he gets back to me, you will see some of his posts real soon.
– Thanks.

Fro Dog,
It’s my pleasure to help you out with the Cubs side of the site. I don’t blame you a bit for the decision that you have reached. We have had our hearts ripped out of our chest too many times with this team.
I will post a thread in the next few days to try to get my feet wet. If I run into any problems with the process, I’ll let you know.
P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GENREBUSTER !!!

Hi KSMC,
genrebuster THANKS YOU for the birthday greeting. He looks forward to your upcoming posts and plans to resume activities here by April 1. He also insisted that I sign off with the following:

Keith,
Thanks for stepping up. Everyone else here appreciates it very much including myself. I am glad you guys are sticking around. I wouldn’t leave you guys hanging like bobbyd did at the old site.

No problem Fro Dog. I’ll do my best to keep the troops entertained. It’s very important to me to keep the core members from the old site together in this forum that you created, along with any new members that come aboard.
The Cubs should have enough talent to take the NL Central, but it’s not a given. Hendry has made some moves during the off-season that had me scratching my head. DeRosa and Wood will be missed not only for their contributions on the field, but in the clubhouse also. I think Reed Johnson and Dempster could fill the void. Chemistry is an important ingredient during a long season.
