The Three Stooges.

Enough already. This is embarrasing. The Three Stooges: Jerry, Lovie and Ronnie, all have to go. I still am backing up Angelo’s decision to trade for Cutler. However, he gave up the second round draft pick a couple months back for NFL bust and defensive end Gaines Adams who I have not seen on the field yet.

Since he was hired as head coach, Lovie has been having fun getting rid of coaches just for the fact that they weren’t “his friends” (Ron Rivera for Bob Babich, Rod Marinelli). The same can be said for players (See Adam Archuleta, Orlando Pace).

I don’t know who the Bears should or will hire for coach. Anybody who thinks the Bears should hire a coach with “FIRE AND PASSION” should be punched in the throat. Tony Dungy never showed “FIRE AND PASSION” and he had a successful career coaching. All I want is a coach who actually knows how to coach. A coach who knows how to bench players when they fucking suck. A coach that knows that the season is over then to realize that the backups should get playing time.

I don’t require a “fiery coach”. But I do require one with a pulse who is smart, knows how to evaluate talent, is willing to make changes and adjustments if things don’t go according to plan, opposes nepotism, who tells the truth and is not a pollyanna, and who can find a way to motivate his players every week. Seems Lovie Smith does not meet even one of those requirements.

    Repost from last thread:

Quite a few games this week where an eliminated team faced a playoff team or a team vying for the playoffs. How did they go? Well…

Eliminated Atlanta wins at New York against the contending Jets.
Eliminated Oakland (also on the road) comes back late to beat playoff contender Denver.
Eliminated Carolina destroys Minnesota-allowing the Eagles to creep within one game of stealing the Vikings bye.

The Bears? Well, we know how the Bears did. Clearly there are some subpar teams out there with pride and heart that want to win no matter what-the Bears just aren’t one of them.

Even Detroit came back from a 17-0 deficit against Arizona to tie it up. The Cards had to score with less than two minutes remaining to go ahead. The Lions played their 3rd string QB in the second half (and even benched two offensive lineman for false start penalties). “If we had more offensive linemen available we would’ve benched more,” Schwartz said. The Bears layed down today when they fell behind-and they did against the Cardinals too. And the Bengals. And the Vikings. I am not aware of the benching anyone other than taking Knox off kickoff returns. Certainly his play was not the only one Smith deemed unacceptable in this debacle? Was it?

Other teams made statements too-Pittsburgh broke a long losing streak to keep its fading playoff hopes alive against a Green Bay team that will likely win a wild card spot. Dallas, needing a win to keep its wild card bid going strong, went in to undefeated New Orleans and manhandled them for most of the game. I am sure you all know how awful Dallas has played in December for many years now.

What kind of statement did the Bears make? Something along the lines of “I’m tired and want to go home. Wake me when it’s over.” Perhaps they thought the game was just a bad in-flight movie. For me, this season feels like Groundhog Day, and I can’t wait for February 3rd to get here.

I wouldn’t compare those guys to the likes of the three stooges. Hell, one major difference is that Moe, Larry and Curley had fucking brains.

There’s no way in hell anyone can say that about the three cocksuckers that are running the Bears into the ground.

    Fuck those three!

haha great rant. We need Cowher. So badly. But that would require firing Angelo, and I don’t know if the McCheapies will pay all that dough for all those buyouts.

I think lovie deserves another chance…with an offensive cordinator and a gm who doesnt draft a punter or a guy with a broken back in the first round

Fro, actually Gaines Adams has seen the field. It’s just that he sucks so bad you don’t even realize that he is in the game. I cannot believe they gave up a 2nd rounder on a first round bust that Tampa did not want anymore. They probably could have given up a 4th or 5th rounder and gotten him, but instead Angelo has to make a knee jerk reaction (Kinda like another clown that’s a GM in Chicago) and over reacts and gives up his highest draft pick for him.

I like the pick of Turner you got there too. He just looks like a clueless douchebag in the pic.

Lovie? What kind of name is that? Sounds like a sissy boy to me!

nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah
