Thank You, Theo. While you’re at it, please send Fanboy on an extended vacation!

Can someone please help me out here? I have a question that needs to be answered.
Why is Casey Coleman in baseball? If he’s going to do anything associated with baseball, he should be selling the fans hot dogs. Only a bad call late in the game won it.

Matt………I have been screaming about Coleman from day one. This guy is Marmol/Wood bad, if not worse than that. I just cringe whenever he gets the ball.
And he should not be selling hot dogs to the fans. What he should be doing is pushing a broom after the game ends!

Coleman is a classic AAAA player… he does reasonably well at AAA but can’t cut it at the major league level. So yeah, he shouldn’t be playing for the big club.

I seriously doubt that Coleman is a good A pitcher.

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

This is a little late to the Soriano thread, but that picture shows everything that’s wrong with the modern professional league athelete: too much money do give a damn anymore. The fact that Soriano has the nerve to flip the middle digit to ANYBODY shows he has no shame. Doesn’t care about his performance, his team, his fans…anything.
Maybe if we’re fortunate we’ll read about him five years after he’s left baseball…and find out he’s filing for bankruptcy because he’s blown all the money. It couldn’t happen to a bigger waste of a roster space.
Maybe if we’re really lucky, there will be an article about somebody finding Jim Hendry in a homeless shelter. After all the Cubs’ money he wasted, that would be poetic justice.
Back to the issue at hand: If the Cubs don’t have any fundamentals and/or the discipline to work at improving them, what the hell good are the coaches? Does this team need quality time with Tom Emanski’s baseball training videos/DVDs? WTF?

Does anyone know how to access the archives from the old FDB site? I’d love to pull up my original post when the discussions turned to the Cubs acquiring Soriano. I likened him to Brady Anderson of the Orioles; stating that the one monster season would be his only monster season. I hated this shitbag from the very beginning and I can’t wait until his error prone, ass hopping, big bat swinging, bird flipping, no-good, “Mr. Clutch” carcass has been removed from our franchise. DOUCHECOPTER!!!

I wish we could access that site jimmyd…there was so much great stuff there.
DOUCHECOPTER is right! The Sorry-Oh-No signing should go down as one of the worst in history.

From now on…I will not blame Marmol is pissing away a game like he nearly did today with the bases loaded. I will blame that idiot Sveum for continuing to put him in there.

Well either Bruce Levine is overreacting or Carlos Marmol is officially the closer again after he almost blew a three-run lead… AGAIN.

Robert, you are correct on that.
