Yes, it’s pretty sad – PATHETIC, one might say – when “your team” hasn’t won in 106 fucking years. But cheer up, Dale: you don’t have to be a part of this Cubs debacle anymore…life just got better, for you….for the Cubs(?).
So……..who’s next?

Instead of a college of coaches, how about the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling?

Is anybody else happy that Pittsburgh handed the Cincinnati Reds their asses to them last night. Dustys shit-for-brains managing style was on full display last night, in all it’s moronic glory. How many pitchers did he go through? Six, seven, maybe eight? Desperation mode kicked in early. It sure was fun to watch.

Apparently the Yankees are not giving Girardi permission to talk to the Cubs: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/breaking/chi-chicago-cubs-joe-girardi-denied-permission-20131003,0,2579743.story
Even if I was happy where I was, I’d be pretty pissed if my boss wouldn’t let me entertain other offers. Hoping this backfires on the Yankees.

The Yankees are in decline at the moment. They’ll do whatever they can to maintain their position. That includes trying to keep what I would consider the best manager available right now. I am not surprised that they are trying re-sign him before his contract expires at the end of the month. It sucks for the Cubs, but I do understand it. It’s just business.

Gordon Wittenmeyer at the Sun-Times reports that Girardi will not agree to a new deal with the Yankees unless he gets permission to talk to the Cubs. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Matt…I just heard about myself. Wonder will be stupid enough to hire him now?

I think Dusty’s skill set makes him qualified to be a jizzmopper at the finest adult establishments

Guys, I think you are all missing what’s important about this…
With Dusty getting axed, will he have his going away press conference with his son Darren sitting on his lap? Time will tell…
October 4, 2013 at 7:57 pm
Hey Guys,
I think you’re ALL missing the point here.
Dusty’s available! The Cubs need a manager! Just sayin’!!!
I think Prior could be brought back and we could see his fuckin’ arm come clean off at the shoulder. Woody could come out of retirement and DustMop could put him out there for a 300 pitch game (or two). Ah, the memories!!!
Later,
Jimmy D.
