Goddamn, can Bruce Levine be any bigger of a useless fucking hack than he’s shown today? I’m listening to the score this morning, because I’ve heard that the Cubs have a real good chance of landing Maddon. This fucking idiot Levine sounds like he’s stumping for “Ricky” Diarrhea to keep his job! His biggest reason for keeping him: Since July 4, the Cubs won 31 out of 59 games to finish the year. Hey Bruce, that’s 3 games over .500 you goddamned moron! So fucking what? Besides that, loyalty like that and 50 cents will get you a cup of coffee. It sure as hell won’t get you a World Series title dipshit.
I knew signing this hack Levine would be a colossal mistake. But it also fit perfectly into the Scores thinking in hiring on air (non)talent. It also fits their programming mentality. They’re total bandwagon jumpers. The White Sux win the World Series in 2005, and in 2006, who is broadcasting their games? The Score. I heard a few months ago that since the Cubs have basically divorced themselves from WGN, guess who is rumored to take over those games. The Score, of course. Especially good timing there, considering that the Cubs are getting close to possibly going on a sustained run. I fucking hate this station. There isn’t a decent sports talk station in Chicago, and there hasn’t been for years. Levine needs to go back to ESPN 1000, along with the rest of dumb fucks there.

I agree genre. I’ll say this much: The Cubs had better do EVERYTHING they can, and maybe some things they shouldn’t do, to sign Maddon. They can’t afford to embarrass themselves again like they did with Joe Girardi. And I promise you that “Ricky” Diarrhea isn’t the guy to get the job done with the Cubs.

Just get him. If Renteria was the Cubs guy all along, they wouldn’t have been trying to get Girardi last year.
