The N.L. Central is stacked. The Cubs don’t just have the third best record in the N.L. Central, they have the third best record in the MLB. I’m not a Cub’s fan, but I’ll root for them. Good luck Cubs.
Cubs have had a terrific season, win or lose in this years playoffs! The worst thing they could do is panic if they get ousted tonight. Spending money on overripe free agents is the reason the Yankees are in poor shape. They really can’t do anything with all those high end contracts twisting around their necks.
I predict Cubs lose in extra innings tonight. Probably 1-0 on a homerun off Strop or Rondon in the 10th. Pirates are home, and are hungry for playoff wins. Nevertheless, 96 wins was unbelievable this year! They have the right manager and the right GM. Stay put!
The one thing you cannot do in baseball is panic and do something rash. You can get away with it in football or basketball, but not baseball. Cubs are doing just fine. Stay on the present path and be patient. Good things are going to happen very soon.

Remember when fans were saying Jon Lester should start this game “because he has experience?” Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa…
Pathetic behavior by Pirates. Throwing at Jake. Lame.
Good job Cubs. Now the real playoffs begin on Friday.
