Also, I forgot the Bears cut David Fales before the season started. I think he was claimed by the Patriots first, but then, claimed by the Ravens. He is on their practice squad. The Bears signed Matt Barkley to their practice squad before the season started and now, elevated him to the main roster.
I’d rather see Barkley start. He hasn’t played all that much in the NFL, but at least he still has more potential than that turd known as Brian Hoyer.
And did anyone see what the Patriots did with a third-string rookie quarterback? They shut out the team that completely spanked the Bears in the season opener. That is a franchise that gets it. They always have backup, are well-coached/managed and the owner gives a damn. I only wish the Bears could be half of the organization that the Patriots.

As long as as McCaskey and Phillips are involved, it’ll never happen.
Patriots are a great organization. Bears are PATHETIC. Sad, but true.
