Patriots vs. Falcons

Who do you have and why?

For me, I’d be happy with either one. But, seeing the Patriots win again would put a grin on my face knowing that Roger Goodell would have to hand the Lombardi Trophy to them. That’s a win for all of us.

This weekend I am mulling over two options:

    1) Drive to Bowie, MD for some smoked wings and make it back to watch the game at one of the lounges at my apartment complex,

    2) Rent a room in Waldorf, MD and watch the game at Hooters, in anticipation of a rant titled “Football Season is Over,” about the decline of the NFL as well as Hooters.

BTW, Pats 31, Falcons 17. Matty Ice gets hot for the first half, then Bellicheck makes some defensive adjustments. TB12 has an epic performance, as usual.

I’m happy either way. Either Matt Ryan wins his first Super Bowl or Roger Goodell has to present New England the trophy. But I think I’m gonna avoid watching the game so I don’t have to watch all the whiny SJW commercials that will likely appear.

Speaking of the commercials, PITS may have a point. The commercials are either going to be so boring (as not to offend anyone, rather that, like SELL GOODS AND SERVICES) or they’re gonna be political bullshit like Budweiser’s commercial.

…and speaking of whiny SJWs, take a read of the final Dick Joke Jamboroo of the 2016-17 NFL season:

    Wow. What a game!

Love him or hate him, Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of our lifetime.

  6. dvxprime Says:

    Agreed.

IRT the Patriots, we all hate them cuz we ain’t them.

Some of the commercials were generally funny, and Lady Gaga was actually entertaining.

Hoters was actually $60 well spent. The food was mostly good and came out at a reasonable time. My server, although not as “endowed” as Hooters girls are supposed to be, took good care of me (as far as serving dinner and drinks).

I left the game early in the 4th with ATL with the ball and a 28-12 lead. When I made it back to the hotel it was 28-20. Good thing I left my hotel room with the TV on Fox.

I’ve been a Patriots fan since 1963, mainly because of Babe Parilli and Jim Nance. I also was a huge fan of the AFL. So, I am very happy with Sundays outcome. I have seen Unitas, Jurgenson, Tarkenton, Starr, Staubach, Bradshaw, Montana, and Manning. Brady is the best. Simply because his work has been excellent over more years. And that clutch performance in a game where he is behind by 25 points late in the third quarter was beyond anything I have ever seen. And I saw the Frank Reich game when Buffalo came back from a 35-7 deficit at halftime.

    Ernie,

It was so sweet to see Goodell hand over the trophy to those guys. That made my day.

Go figure: The Falcons turned into the Bears with horrible play-calling in the fourth quarter. All they had to do was run the fucking ball and the clock would have been chewed up. Instead, they are out trying to sling the ball all over the place when they only needed one fucking yard! Insane. A lot of these coaches in the NFL are just fucking morons.

    Goodell…ASSHAT supreme.

Brady is a WINNER. I admire the Patriots…what an organization they have.

And Belichick is as good as it gets…if he had coached the Bears this season, they likely would have gone to the playoffs.

In other news, the Bears still stink.
