Agreed. Although, part of me is still pissed for Pace fucking up the draft just to get him. DeShaun Watson kicked ass for the Texans yesterday and I was screaming for the Bears to get him over anyone else.
We’ll find out within the next year or two who was right with that. But, anyone but Glennon gives the Bears a better chance to win games at this moment.

Don’t forget Watson has a great team around him there. I wanted the bears to get Watson too but I am happy with trubisky. He balled out when given the chance to play. I am sure the oc will do lots of runs and play action rollouts. Keep the reads simple for Mitch. If pace finally gets us a franchise qb he is going to get a nice extension too

For the time being, the underlying goal for Trubisky is to survive the year.
Next season, he will have a better (sic) coach and wide receiver corps around him. This year, he must make chicken salad out of chicken shit. Maybe he can make Fox and Logan’s game plans work. Maybe he can inspire the WRs to actually…y’know…catch the ball without needing a waiver for Stickum. Maybe he can hang on to the running game for more than two quarters.
Then again, if Ryan Pace picked Trubisky over DeShaun Watson, and Trubisky proves to be a bust (at least this year), maybe it’s time for Pace to be gone right behind Fox and the rest.
