Those are just some of the idiotic things John Fox has repeated during his tenure as the head coach of our beloved Chicago Bears. I didn’t want him here at the beginning and the three years he was here confirmed that I was right in my assumptions.
Now, the search begins for a new head coach. Let’s pray the new one doesn’t drink the water at Halas Hall.

Pace’s choices in the draft and free agency have gotten the Bears one of the three worst rosters in the NFL for the last two years, so I have my doubts on how he’s going to pick a head coach.
Whomever Pace hires needs to have some track record of developing players. Draft and free agency be damned; with the modern NFL players we have, it’s all about turning chicken shit into chicken salad.
The Bears organization has so many needs besides the roster and a new coaching regime. The current scouting department needs to be run out of town; they’re most likely responsible to the bum scoop that led to so many trash personnel decisions lately. The current medical/trainer staff needs to be out the door right behind the scouts; this team has damn near led the planet for lost man-games and players on injured reserve.
George and Ted need to hire a VP of football operations, since Teddy-bear knows fuck-all about football AFTER THIRTY-PLUS YEARS. I’d recommend someone who would be senior to Pace, since it’s not clear that he has a plan or any idea WTF he’s doing.

With three years of failure, the Bears still gave Pace a contract extension through 2021. I get that he’s drafted some very good players. But he’s also drafted some busts as well as signing Mike Fucking Glennon. Teams should be much better after three years of a new regime. The Chicago Bears aren’t even close to contending.

I say give him until then to do something. If trubisky turns out to be something he will get an immediate pass on his misfires. Let’s see who he starts interviewing for the job and what kind of guy he likes. He has almost a full draft this year. He needs to hit on his guys this year. Last year’s draft is promising. Also do you think since Alston left we may get a compensatory pick?

That goddamned Ted Phillips is going to be a part of hiring a new coach. And Ryan FUCKING Pace? We’re stuck with this goddamn dipshit until 20 fucking 21!!!! And don’t forget about ownership of this disaster. Yes, the OLD BITCH is still alive!

I did actually. I texted Genre during it and can guarantee he’s happy he didn’t watch/listen to it. His ears would have been bleeding like ours.
Ted Phillips has been with this franchise for over 30 years. That really makes no sense.

Dude, have you been listening to The Score since the firing was announced? I kid you not, there have been at least two or three calls from people suggesting the Bears bring back…wait for it…DITKA! Like, for real. It’s not one of those bits that we sometimes throw around. Legit calls for DITKA in some type of role with the team are being screamed for.

I am not surprised one bit. Chicago has some of the dumbest sports fans out there. Chicago sports fans are stuck in the past. Ditka won’t take us anywhere and neither will lovie Smith. It makes me laugh when I hear people seriously call for their return.
