Greetings to all. I am sorry for not posting much lately. Work has consumed me and I also had a shitty cold that lasted a couple of weeks.
Now, onto sports. The NCAA Tournament is underway. As of the conclusion of the first day, I already have three losses in my bracket.
The Blackhawks lost yet, another tough game. They are four points out with nine games left. Needless to say, time is running out. It’s not going to get any easier.
The Bears signed some players. But it doesn’t matter because Matt Nagy is the head coach and all he wants to do is dumb shit that costs the team games.
The Bulls, well, they are bad at sucking. Even when they are supposed to lose, they win. That decreases their chances of a better draft pick. Sheesh.
Feel free to discuss amongst yourselves. Or I should say, disgust amongst yourselves. Whatever.

I had a cold last month that was one of my all time worsts. Now I’ve got another cold this week. Before this year, I rarely get sick. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten sick on back to back months. I have family that been sick too. Not sure what the hell going on. But I know how ya feel.

I spent my birthday weekend in Washington DC, watching March Madness and eating way too much. The Maryland loss, Kentucky and Duke were the only compelling and competitive games on Saturday and Sunday; everything else was blow-out city.
When does the baseball season start?

In his first start since last May, Yu Darvish produced the shortest outing of his career, lasting only 2.2 innings while walking a career high 7 hitters. The first 10 Rangers never put the ball in play off him, walking six times and striking out 4 while a third inning home run to Asdrubal Cabrera helped finish his night after 75 pitches.
Somebody refresh my memory; how much did we pay for this bum? Chuckie? Help me out here.
Theo is not good with free agent pitchers.

Ernie…..I don’t remember how much Darbitchs contract is, but I safely say he’s severely overpaid. I posted something in the post about the Jordan Howard trade. I think you will agree with me. Please let me know.

The hitting has been phenomenal, one of the strongest starts I have ever seen to the Cubs offense, 28 runs in 3 games! As for the pitching: everyone so far sucks donkey balls except for Lester and Quintana. Maybe the projected 82 wins becomes a reality if the pitching continues to be shit. Hendricks tonight, may he go long.

Fucking Cubs bullpen did it again. Fuck this team. They aren’t going anywhere. FUCKERS!!!!!!!

Cubs will finish in third or fourth place in the division if this pitching doesn’t turn around soon. Yes, you can quote me on that come late August. The season is a marathon, that’s true. But this pitching is worse than anyone expected thus far.

When you need 10 runs to win a game, you’re not winning shit. It may be a little early to say this but it might be time to tank for draft picks and rebuild the minors, especially if its this bad by mid-May. Also Mark Loretta might end up being skipper rather quickly.

I was for canning Maddon two years ago. This team is getting beat bad now every outing. They’re not even close. Epstein is as much to blame for this mess as Maddon.
