It is now 17-7 Lions over da Bears. I had a feeling Fro was not going to be happy about this game. Amirigtht? Amiright?

They are absolutely a disaster. They came back and won against a team as shitty (if not, more shitty) than they are. And their defense did everything they could to give it away on the last drive like they have done in the last two seasons with big plays and stupid penalties. That was a very frustrating game to watch.

A team that should be AT LEAST 8-4 is 6-6 and still very much out of the playoff picture. I highly doubt the Bears win out or go 3-1 while the Vikings lose four of their five games (or thereabouts).

History be damned, the NFL should considering flex-scheduling the Thanksgiving games if the Lions and whomever both have shitty records. Then again, the Thursday games are damn near a punishment as it is…

Lovie, Trestman, Fox, and now Nagy. It never fails, the Bears defense getting lit up by very junior (first-or-second year) QBs, while the Bears offense has a liability at QB, on the o-line, or both.

Nice that everybody showed up in the second half, but why can’t this team ever put together 60 minutes of winning football?

I am slightly more optimistic than you guys, so I will stick by my original prediction that Trubisky/Nagy?pace get ’til the end of next season before Georgie-boy cleans house.

Weekly F’n Illini report:

Okay, it was a big F’n Deal that the Illini came back to beat MichiganState to become Bowl Eligible for 2019. And yes, it was a tough loss at Iowa that could have gone their way with a few breaks.

But, man…getting curbstomped by a Northwestern team that came in to this game 2-9 and in full disarray? Bullshit.

Oh, well…we’ll see where Illinois go for their bowl game in a couple of weeks…

That was a horrible game. Talk about a shit show against a Northwestern team that was on their third/fourth quarterback. Illinois couldn’t get anything going.

I should have known that this was coming seeing as they miraculously took down Wisconsin and Michigan State in the ways they did. They shit themselves against Iowa and this game was the bottom of the pit.

Fro, you and DVX are leaving out one very important fact about that game. You both mentioned what a shit storm that game was, but you never mentioned what it wasn’t, at least according to Lovie Staff and his Smith(thank you OB).
