What more needs to be said genre?

  2. Paul Says:

This is all on Ricketts being a CHEAP ASS , giving away Darvish to save money!!! Lets talk about the Black Hawks and how bad they are and why, Stan Bowman has ruined the team with horrible trades and drafting but Rocky Wirtz does nothing !! Rocky is starting to remind me of his dad who almost destroyed the team by keeping Bob Pullford as GM, come on Rocky snap out of it and clean house or the fans will start staying away in droves !!

  3. chucky Says:

Paul….just wait and see how much the Bears will suck donkey shaft this year. They’ll make the Blackhawks seem competent.

  4. Paul Says:

Hey Chucky, I hope you’re wrong but knowing the Bears and the Cluster F-ck they are I wouldn’t be shocked! I won’t even mention the Bulls !

  5. genrebuster Says:

    chucky, not much.

And, I agree with Paul…Ricketts got his WS in 2016, why should he give a crap? He’s only worth $900 million or so.

Theo got out just in time…

  6. Erniesarmy Says:

I repeat what I said yesterday:

Everyone should be on the trade docket except Kyle Hendricks, Nico Hoerner, and Wilson Contreras. Yeah, that means Rizzo, Baez, and Bryant should be bye, bye too. Enough with this bunch. They got us one World’s Championship and that was it. Time to move on. I’m beginning to sour on Ross too. Today’s loss to the Phillies was pathetic. 10 losses in a row and counting…

  7. chucky Says:

Ernie…..I was done with Ross last year. That whole goddamn thing just smelled like the “Cubbie Blue” bullshit that netted them 108 years of championship futility. Remember the whole “Hire Ryne Sandberg” shitshow? Ross’s hiring had the same vibe. Looking back, I’m beginning to wonder how they won 103 games and then the World Series in 2016.

  8. chucky Says:

Time to fucking cut Arrieta. Fucking guy has nothing left in the tank. SEVEN FUCKING RUNS IN LESS THAN TWO GODDAMNED INNINGS. I’ve seen enough. Get rid of this motherfucker now before he loses another goddamned game! He’s utterly useless, unless you just want to serve up batting practice to the opposing team. Genre, Ernie, help me out here guys! Top of the fifth, 9-3, Philly.

    #FUCKTHECUBS!

  9. Erniesarmy Says:

Arrietta 1.2 innings 7 runs!!! Chucky, how many Wild Turkeys does Ross have to drink to be drunk enough to start Arrietta?

    Fire the whole organization!!

  10. chucky Says:

Honestly Ernie, I’d say none. I think he’s just that fucking stupid. I know you didn’t like him, but I’m beginning to long for the glory days of Joe Maddon. It’s gotten that bad for me.

  11. Erniesarmy Says:

Chucky, I never thought I would say this, but I agree, bring back Maddon!

  12. chucky Says:

GOD-FUCKING-DAMNIT TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!! Fucking 15-7 at the end of seven. Even when they score a decent amount of runs they still get blown out!!!!!!!!!! GODDAMNED COCKSUCKERS!!!!!!!!!

  13. Paul E Johnson Says:

Chucky, did you hear Ross’s comments after the latest debacle, he’d have to take a look at the tape to see why Arrietta’s been so bad lately!! The Cubs don’t have any consistent 300 hitters and why in the Hell is Ian Happ on the roster hitting a F-cking 195!!

  14. Pie in the Sky Says:

Meh. I stopped caring about this season when they traded—practically gave away—Yu Darvish. That told me all I needed to know about ’21. Not wasting energy on them if they themselves DGAF.

  15. chucky Says:

Paul, no I missed his comments, but judging from what you just said, it sounds like he’s auditioning for the Bears head coaching job when they FINALLY dump Nagy. This team hasn’t hit worth a flying fuck since they hired Chili FUCKING Davis. They still have a goddamn hangover from that fucking debacle. And while I would miss Bryant and Rizzo, I’ll have to agree with Ernie. I’d still hang on to Baez though, along with Contreras, Hoerner, and Hendricks. After that, dump em, it’s over.

AND FIRE DAVID FUCKING ROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He’s obviously in way over his ugly ass bald fucking goddamned head!

  16. Erniesarmy Says:

Chucky – here is a Ross quote from ESPN:

“I have to look at that,” Ross said. “We have a lot going on, 11 losses in a row. I think there is a lot to look at. I’ll wrap my brain around this one tonight. I’ll attack the problems in the morning.”

Arrietta thinks he still has “it” and that there’s a “lot left in the tank.” So, Rossy will look at the tape in the morning. LOL!!!!

I have zero managerial experience and I don’t need to see tape to know Arrietta is finished as a starting pitcher.

Scarlett O’Hara in “Gone With the Wind”: “I won’t think about this now, I’ll think about it tomorrow. For tomorrow’s another day!”

Scarlett, meet your brother, Rossy. LOL!!

  17. chucky Says:

Yeah Ernie, I saw it. Like I said, he’s auditioning for to be the next Bears HC. And Arrieta thinking he still has a lot left in the tank is like giving a ‘Best in Show’ trophy to the proud owner of a flaming 1972 Ford Pinto.

  18. chucky Says:

Another fine offensive performance by the Cubs tonight. Final score: Phils 8- Cubs 0.

    FUCK THIS TEAM!
    FUCK DAVID ROSS!
    FUCK JED HOYER
    AND FUCK FANBOY RICKETTS!!!!!!!!!

  19. Paul Says:

Hey Chucky, wait until Jake gets back from IR then things will be all good again!! The Cubs are now officially a Cluster F-ck of the highest level, thanks Ricketts you Cheap Basta-d !!

  20. chucky Says:

I’m calling bullshit on Arrietta’s IL status. They needed to get him out of the rotation for a while so they can figure out what to do with his sorry ass. I wonder what the odds are that that little bitch from Bleed Cubbie Blue, Al Yellon, lobbied the Scrubs to resign Arrietta. He did just that with Kerry Wood. You should have seen that fucking letter! He is a total embarrassment to being a Cubs fan.

  21. dvxprime Says:

I think it was Monday Might Baseball on ESPN last week, against the Dodgers. Cubs SP (may have been Arrieta for all I know) couched up a grand slam, then another two-run homer…all in the third inning.

This team is done for ’21, .500 record or no. The Cubs simply aren’t the type to recover from double-digit losing streaks.

  22. genrebuster Says:

“Bring back Maddon”? Ernie…are you ok? 😉

All kidding aside, I don’t believe for a second that the losing streak would have continued for so long were he still involved…

And Pie, I agree…they played their hand when they got rid of Darvish.

    PATHETIC.

  23. genrebuster Says:

For now, keep Rizzo, Baez, Contreras, Hendricks and maybe Bryant.

Unless you can get a hell of a lot for any of them.

Ricketts is loaded. Money should not be the main issue here.

  24. chucky Says:

How about this for a fucking headline.

    “Cubs’ bullpen stumbles against Cardinals”

The Cubs lose 6-0. The goddamned bullpen wasn’t the only thing that stumbled tonight you fucking assholes!

    FIRE DAVID FUCKING ROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  25. Paul Says:

Why in the Hell is Ian Happless still in the Majors , he’s hitting under 190 !!!

  26. chucky Says:

Paul…..it’s because they have nobody else. What I want to know is why they can’t seem to find a competent hitting coach.

  27. Paul Says:

Chucky, its the quality of the players they draft, just look at the team batting average! This is all on Management , time to clean house again!!

  28. chucky Says:

Yeah Paul, they’ve failed miserably in drafting any quality pitchers. I’m not real hyped about their position players too. They need to get a real GM in there to rebuild this mess. Hoyer isn’t qualified.

  29. dvxprime Says:

So, so glad I don’t have WGNAmerica or MLB Season Ticket in my cable package…

  30. genrebuster Says:

It appears that Hoyer is lost without Theo.

As for Fanboi Ricketts…he won his WS and is rich. Why should he give a fuck?

And for now, why should I?

  31. Paul Says:

It’s starting to look like another 108 year drought before the Cubs see another World Series!!

  32. genrebuster Says:

    Paul, you could be right…

  33. Erniesarmy Says:

    Genre, I agree.

  34. Paul Says:

The Cubs have two starting outfielders hitting under 200 Happ and Heyward, why are they even in the Majors, how the Hell can you win with those two on the field!!

  35. Paul Says:

Yeah, lets keep throwing Arietta out there so the Cubs can keep playing catch up after he gives up a bunch of runs early! Too bad David Ross couldn’t have been included in one of the Fire sale trades !

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
