It’s been four years since I’ve been to Soldier Field. Ironically, it was the season opener back then against the Packers that the Bears appropriately lost. This Sunday, I may very well be there again. I have been very busy the last few weeks and am exhausted. I haven’t seen a victory in-person since 2016. Needless to say, it’s time for a change. We’ll see what happens.
Regardless, I really don’t see this team winning more than five games and five wins seems optimistic. What’s sad is that if I wrote “the Bears can’t find someone competent to be the general manager or head coach”, you could say that in any of the past 30 years.
It’s fucking annoying and frustrating. And we were proven that again with the news last week that Nathan Peterwhacker was back with the team. And even worse, it was announced the other day that he is the backup quarterback. Are Ryan Poles and Matt EberLose blind? Fuck both of these dipshits.
Your thoughts in the thread. As always, the recap will be up at some point Sunday evening.
