February 19, 2018On this night, we get the last laugh.
February 9, 2018Bulls 115 Timberwolves 114
On the night Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson Brickson and ThomASS come to the United Center, Zach LaVine and the crew pulled off a comeback late in the game to win. It was in unlikely fashion. Usually, it’s the Bulls that are the class of the NBA when it comes to blowing huge leads. This night, the Timerwolves found themselves up by as much as 17. Well, there is still some “Bulls” in the Timerwolves. So it makes sense.
I mentioned before on here that this year is different. The Bulls aren’t a team full of shitheads that I can’t stand. The character is different. Are they losing and blowing leads? Yeah, sure. But at least they are trying. They aren’t full of shit. They all feel they have something to prove. This team was really fun to watch when they had that winning streak earlier in the year.
No matter the results, I will say the Bulls won this trade for Jimmy Butler. The Bulls have three core pieces that could be all-stars in the years to come in Lauri Markkanen, Kris Dunn and Zach LaVine.
And really, who are we kidding? The Timerwolves aren’t going to do shit. ThomASS was always touted as a great defensive-minded coach. Well, they gave up 140 points to the Cavaliers earlier in the week. That game went into overtime, but giving up over 120 points or whatever it was in four quarters isn’t good defense. Jimmy Butler also played 40 minutes tonight.
Sound familiar?
