This season is already starting off great. The great free agent signing was injured during the first padded practice of training camp. You can’t really blame Coby Bryant here. A “small” fracture in his knee doesn’t really sound optimistic. Same for a hyperextension and bone bruise. Reports had him being out for 8-10 weeks. Now, Ben Johnson is saying there is no timeline.
I am no doctor. But any fracture doesn’t seem like a quick heal.
Oh, and Kyler Gordon came to training camp already hurt. What else is new?
And why give Darnell Wright the richest contract for an offensive lineman in history? He had a great 12 games to finish the season. That’s not enough to warrant that kind of money. Just, whatever.
Buckle up, folks. It’s going to be a very long five months.
